El día de ayer llevamos a cabo la segunda participación en las comparsas de punta de mata año 2024 con la presentación de Krampus a manos del compañero @dooh92.

Éstas fiestas se celebran cada año desde el 12 hasta el 15 de febrero (acá en mi pueblo), normalmente se hacen desfiles con estos trajes coloridos y brillantes sin embargo nosotros en representación del colectivo HurtoCrew, llevamos la imagen de Krampus bestia que castiga a los niños que se portan mal y los atormenta hasta que se hagan buenos según dice la leyenda.

Quisimos llevar el mensaje de miedo y terror pero al mismo tiempo de armonía con lo que se tiene alrededor pues habíamos escrito un texto que decía lo siguiente;

Krampus es una bestia que acompaña a Santa Claus pero no exactamente a repartir regalos a los niños buenos, es la bestia que azota a los niños que se han portado mal hasta que se hacen buenos y es representación del colectivo urbano HurtoCrew.

Sin embargo a la hora de la presentación la encargada de la lectura leyó el papel equivocado y menciono de forma errónea el nombre del colectivo al igual que el significado de la comparsa lo cual nos generó un poco de molestia en cuanto a esa presentación ya que sabemos lo desagradable que es ésta imagen pero nuestra idea era despertarle esa conciencia a las personas que así como existe lo bueno existe lo malo.

Espero que eso no nos traiga repercusión negativa a la hora de la evaluación.

We do not know the exact origin of the celebration of carnival, but here in Venezuela more than custom and tradition is part of their culture, that culture that celebrates everything.

Yesterday we carried out the second participation in the comparsas of punta de mata year 2024 with the presentation of Krampus at the hands of the partner @dooh92.

These festivities are celebrated every year from the 12th to the 15th of February (here in my town), normally there are parades with these colorful and bright costumes, however we in representation of the collective HurtoCrew, we carried the image of Krampus beast that punishes children who misbehave and torments them until they become good according to legend.

We wanted to carry the message of fear and terror but at the same time of harmony with what is around us because we had written a text that said the following;

Krampus is a beast that accompanies Santa Claus but not exactly to deliver gifts to good children, it is the beast that whips children who have misbehaved until they become good and is a representation of the urban collective HurtoCrew.

However at the time of the presentation the person in charge of the reading read the wrong paper and wrongly mentioned the name of the collective as well as the meaning of the comparsa which caused us some discomfort as we know how unpleasant this image is but our idea was to raise awareness to people that just as there is good there is bad.

I hope that this will not have negative repercussions at the time of the evaluation.
