[ENG-ESP] EASY POP ART OF LIONEL MESSI MADE OF CARDBOARD AND ACRYLIC PAINT

Hello dear friends, I hope you are feeling very well, I hope you have a good weekend and do the things you like most. For my part, I want to share with you a portrait I made of the world soccer superstar Lionel Messi. This portrait is made in a very simple style such as the stencil, which consists of simple lines where what stands out the most is the shadow. It is made on a cardboard in which I made the silhouette of the Argentine soccer player, then I cut and removed part of the cardboard to achieve a movement effect. It is very easy to make and we can do it at home with simple materials, so we can decorate as we want, without anything else to say I leave you with my video.

I made a sketch of Mesi's face with a pencil, I did it in the simplest way, taking care of the proportion of the face and without sharpening the pencil too much so as not to break the cardboard. Then with a darker pencil I highlighted each and every one of the lines to have a better vision when cutting with the knife.

The next step was to cut all the lines that I drew before, I used a very sharp stationery knife to cut the cardboard exactly and carefully. This is how I trust little by little with the tip of the knife, with a lot of patience and taking my time.

Once I had cut out the drawing, I looked for a small, thin wooden stick and with the tip I began to lift the cardboard from the top to the bottom of the drawing. Little by little I peeled off and removed the cardboard. You have to be careful so that when you stretch the cardboard it doesn't deviate and end up breaking on one side where we haven't cut before.

To finish, I prepare a little acrylic paint with water, since the surface is cardboard, I place the paint without mixing it with water, since the cardboard could break due to humidity, so I leave the paint very thick. Then with a flat brush I gradually paint the entire area of ​​the face, thus the portrait of Messi comes to life and shape by contrasting with the stripes of the cardboard. This is how this painting was finished.

This is how this portrait of Lionel Messi was finished, as you could see, this style can be made in many shapes and sizes, I like how the relief of cardboard lines looks, if they move to one side the lines move and give it more depth , they look like Mona Lisa's eyes. Hola queridos amigos, espero que se encuentren muy bien, deseo que tengan un buen fin de semana y hagan las cosas que más les gustan. Por mi parte quiero compartir con ustedes un retrato que hice de la superestrella mundial del futbol Lionel Messi, este retrato está hecho en un estilo muy sencillo como lo es el esténcil, el cual consta de líneas simples donde lo que más resalta es la sombra. Está hecho sobre un cartón en el cual hice la silueta del futbolista argentino, luego corté y quité parte del cartón para logra run efecto de movimiento. Es muy fácil de realizar y podemos hacerlo en casa con materiales simples, así podemos decorar como queramos, sin más nada que decir los dejo con mi video.

Hice un boceto del rostro de Messi con lápiz, lo hice de la forma más sencilla cuidando la proporción del rostro y sin afincar mucho el lápiz para no romper el cartón. Luego con un lápiz más oscuro fui remarcando todas y cada una de las líneas para tener una mejor visión a la hora de recortar con la navaja.

El siguiente paso fue cortar todas las líneas que dibujé antes, utilicé una navaja de papelería muy afilada para cortar el cartón de manera exacta y con cuidado. Así fio poco a poco con la punta de la navaja, con mucha paciencia y tomándome mi tiempo.

Ya una vez cortado el dibujo, busqué un pequeño y fino palo de madera y con la punta comencé a levantar el cartón desde la parte superior hasta la parte inferior del dibujo. Poco a poco fui despegando y retirando el cartón, hay que ser cuidadoso para que al momento de estirar el cartón este no se desvíe y termine rompiéndose por un lado donde no hayamos cortado antes.

Para terminar preparo un poco de pintura acrílica con agua, como la superficie es de cartón, coloco la pintura sin mezclarla con agua, ya que el cartón se podría romper por la humedad, así que dejo la pintura bien espesa. Luego con un pincel plano voy pintando poco a poco toda la zona del rostro, así el retrato de Messi cobra vida y forma contrastando con las rayas de la cartulina. Así quedó terminado este cuadro.

Así quedo finalizado este retrato de Lionel Messi, como pudieron observar, este estilo se puede hacer de muchas formas y tamaños, me gusta cómo queda el relieve de líneas de cartón, si se mueven a un lado las líneas se mueven y le dan más profundidad, se parecen a los ojos de la Mona Lisa.
