Hello dear friends, returning again with my series of paintings made on paper money of old Venezuelan bills, this time it is the turn of the legendary Super Saiyayin, the definitive warrior whom Goku was able to achieve to defeat the emperor of evil, the great Frieza. Without fear of being wrong, I think that the moment when Goku transformed was the greatest moment in the history of anime, I don't think there is anything like it and this is not to disparage the other stories, but this was a phenomenon worldwide and even, almost 30 years later, it is still exciting. I decided to make a painting of Goku with this transformation, while he was fighting with Frieza and the planet was going to explode into a thousand pieces.

Hola queridos amigos, regresando nuevamente con mi serie de pinturas realizadas sobre papel moneda de billetes antiguos de Venezuela, en esta ocasión el turno es para el legendario Super Saiyayin, el guerrero definitivo el cual Gokú pudo alcanzar para derrotar al emperador del mal, el gran Freezer. Sin temor a equivocarme, pienso que el momento cuando Gokú se transformó, fue ha sido el momento más grande en la historia del ánime, no creo que haya algo que se le parezca y no es por desmerecer las demás historias, pero esto fue un fenómeno mundial y aun, casi 30 años después, sigue siendo emocionante. He decidido hacer una pintura de Gokú con esta transformación, mientras luchaba con Freezer y e planeta iba a estallare en mil pedazos.

Unlike my previous works, here I wanted to make a full-body figure so I used 3 bills, which I joined with glue at the ends and thus obtained a larger canvas. I drew the silhouette but it was a bit difficult since the pencil mark didn't look very good.

A diferencia de mis trabajos anteriores, aquí quise hacer una figura de cuerpo completo por lo que utilicé 3 billetes, los cuales uní con pegamento por los extremos y así obtuve un lienzo más grande. Dibujé la silueta pero fue algo difícil ya que la marca del lápiz no se veía muy bien.

As I said before, it was very difficult for me to visualize the pencil line due to the dark design of the paper, so I painted with a mixture of paint and a little water, so I could have a white silhouette to be able to draw easily. , the result was better, and so I could continue all the strokes....

Como dije antes, se hacía muy difícil para mi poder visualizar el trazo del lápiz por lo oscuro del diseño del papel, así que fui pintando con una mezcla de pintura y un poco de agua, así poder tener una silueta en blanco para poder dibujar fácilmente, el resultado fue mejor, y así pude continuar todos los trazos.

Having everything ready I began to paint inside the drawing, I started with the pants destroyed by the battle, which were red in the darkest parts and thus fading with orange and yellow towards the illuminated areas. I also began to paint on the skin, here the painting I was doing began to take on volume.

Al tener todo ya listo comencé a pintar en el interior del dibujo, comencé por el pantalón destrozado por la batalla, el cual iba de rojo en las partes mas oscuras y así degradándose con naranja y amarillo hacia las zonas iluminadas. También comencé a pintar al piel, aquí comenzó a tomar volumen la pintura que estaba haciendo.

Finally I made the rest of the torn flannel that is blue and began to outline all the parts of the face, here it was difficult because they were very small areas and it was easy to make mistakes. However, I was able to solve it by using a very fine brush to outline, and that is how the finished painting turned out. Finally I did the effect of the wounds on the body from the fight.

Finalmente hice el resto de la franela rota que es de color azúl y comencé a delinear todas las partes del rostro, aquí fue dificil porque eran zonas muy pequeñas y era facil equivocarse. Sin embargo pude resolver utilizando un pincel muy fino para delinear, y así fue quedando la pintura terminada. Por último hice el efecto de las heridas en el cuerpo por la pelea.
