El amor platónico es de los conceptos más mal entendidos de todo el mundo filosófico, y en esta oportunidad acompañame a descubrir qué es lo realmente implica la expresión “Amor platónico”, ya que no es lo que popularmente pensamos que implica, pensamos que es un amor idealizado, algo imposible de alcanzar y lejos de eso. El amor platónico es diferente y creo que para entender lo que Platón pensaba sobre el amor hay que acercarnos a su diálogo el Banquete, espero se animen a leerlo, por ello resalté algunas cosas importantes del diálogo sin hacer mucho spoilers del texto.

Espero este podcast sea de su agrado, admito que este formato me gusta mucho más que el de video, a veces la cámara me intimida un poco en cambio en formato solo audio siento que puedo fluir con más espontaneidad y libertad.

Platonic Love. An approach to the Banquet Dialogue

Platonic love is one of the most misunderstood concepts in the whole philosophical world, and in this opportunity join me to discover what the expression "Platonic love" really implies, since it is not what we popularly think it implies, we think it is an idealized love, something impossible to achieve and far from it. Platonic love is different and I think that to understand what Plato thought about love we have to approach his dialogue the Banquet, I hope you are encouraged to read it, so I highlighted some important things of the dialogue without doing much spoilers of the text.

I hope this podcast is to your liking, I admit that I like this format much more than the video, sometimes the camera intimidates me a little instead in audio-only format I feel I can flow with more spontaneity and freedom.
