Mi primer intento para tocar el cuatro fué en mi infancia, mi mamá si era muy fanática de la música tradicional y popular venezolana, a mí no m gustaba, me gustaba más el pop y también rock. Mi mamá me compró un cuatro bellísimo y le pago un profesor para que me enseñara, al iniciar con las clases me di cuenta que no sería fácil y hasta me rompía y dolían los dedos, así que no continúe, yo presté el cuatro a una amiga de la infancia para unas misas y al final perdí contacto con esta amiga.

My first attempt to play the cuatro was in my childhood, my mom was a big fan of traditional and popular Venezuelan music, I didn't like it, I liked more pop and rock. My mom bought me a beautiful cuatro and paid a teacher to teach me, when I started with the classes I realized that it would not be easy and even broke and hurt my fingers, so I did not continue, I lent the cuatro to a childhood friend for some masses and in the end I lost contact with this friend.

Ahora es que valoro y me gusta la música popular y tradicional venezolana, por la universidad que estudio canto popular venezolano se pedía aprender lo básico de un instrumento musical y decían que sería preferible fuera el cuatro, intente recuperar mi cuatro de la infancia, pero no lo logré. Tuve que conseguir el cuatro este del vídeo y según yo lo intenté con ganas, veía que mis compañeros avanzaban y no yo, terminé volviendolo a abandonar, la diferencia es que ahora sí me encanta y quisiera aprender a tocarlo, capaz en el futuro con más tiempo y muchísima más práctica logré dominar este aunque pequeño súper completo instrumento musical.

Now is that I value and I like the popular and traditional Venezuelan music, by the university that I study Venezuelan popular singing was asked to learn the basics of a musical instrument and they said it would be preferable to be the cuatro, I tried to recover my childhood cuatro, but I did not succeed. I had to get the cuatro in the video and according to me I tried hard, I saw that my classmates were advancing and not me, I ended up abandoning it again, the difference is that now I really love it and I would like to learn to play it, maybe in the future with more time and much more practice I will be able to master this small but super complete musical instrument.

Siguiendo entonces lo que se suele decir, de que todo pasa por algo, no desarrollé talento musical, pero si desarrolle buena presencia a la hora de exponer mis temas en la universidad, que me ayudó muchísimo durante mi primera carrera universitaria y espero lo haga al trabajar profesionalmente cómo licenciado.
