I spent the whole weekend at home, my aunt leaves the radio on an AM station and on that frequency usually plays some oldies music, then this song comes on.
Hello people of the Pukumundo community over here @eudarcabello this time for week 21 of The Singing Voice with this song by Marco Antonio Solis which was later covered by the argentinean spanish rock band Los Enanitos Verdes and this song is titled Your Jail.
Tu vanidad no te deja entender
Que en la pobreza se sabe querer
Quiero llorar
You're leaving, love
If that's the way you want it, what can I do?
Your vanity doesn't let you understand
That in poverty you know how to love
I want to cry
And it tears me apart that you think like that
And even more that now I'm left without you
It hurts me what you are going to suffer
But remember
Nobody's perfect and you'll see that
Maybe you'll have a thousand better things
But sincere love will never be
Go forgetting
Of this that today you leave and that you'll change
For the adventure that you'll see
It will be your prison and you'll never get out
I want to cry
And it tears me apart that you think like that
And even more that now I'm left without you
It hurts me what you are going to suffer
But remember
Nobody's perfect and you'll see that
Maybe you'll have a thousand better things
But a sincere affection you'll never have
Forget about it
Of this that today you leave and that you'll change
For the adventure that you'll see
It'll be your prison and you'll never get out
But remember
Nobody's perfect and you'll see it
Maybe you'll have a thousand better things
But a sincere affection you'll never have
Go forgetting
Of this that today you leave and that you'll change
For the adventure that you'll see
It'll be your prison and you'll never get out
But remember
Nobody's perfect and you'll see it
Maybe you'll have a thousand better things
But a sincere affection you'll never have
Go forgetting
Of this that today you leave and that you'll change
For the adventure that you'll see
It will be your prison and you'll never get out.
This song is well known to Latin American people either by the original version, although my favorite would be the rock version.
I'm not listening to much rock lately and I had no idea what to do for this week, but I was glad I ended up doing this song, I really enjoyed making it.
Thank you for your support. I hope you liked my post as much as I did and I invite you to visit my future posts.
