Hello friends of the Music Community

Welcome to Venezuela, its Music and its Interpreters. In this opportunity, I am going to present to you, through a short video, how the Galerón is interpreted Oriental Venezolano in the Acoustic Guitar in its two variants: arpeggiated and strummed. On this occasion I am accompanied by the well-known guitarist and cultural promoter César Montañez who is a Cumannese musician with a lot of experience in the traditional field and who currently directs the Vocal Instrumental Group "Tierra of grace". Here, maestro Montañez recreates in the Guitar , in a simple and practical way, this type of music that < b> serves as an accompaniment to the song of the Tenth Spinel in the Galerón Oriental Venezolano.

From left to right, accompanying in the tone of Galerón: "Pipo" Montilla (Bass), "Juancito Silva" (Mandolin), Jesús (Pachú) Velásquez (Four Venezuelan), César Montañez (Guitar) and Jesús (Pescaito) Gutiérrrez (Maracas )

Likewise, Maestro Montañez expresses with concern that, with the inclusion of Bass in this type of music, the Guitar has lost the natural space that it traditionally had in this Venezuelan musical cultural manifestation.

Hoping it has been to the liking of all of you.
