El sitio que visité fue la Plaza Nuñez, muchos no la conocían ya que ese emblemático lugar fue cerrado por 20 años, por una dura época de violencia que vivió el país en los años noventa que ocasionó el cierre del gran patio frontal de la casa del presidente de la República por motivos de seguridad, la apertura a todo el público fue realizada exactamente el 11 de agosto de este año.

Muchas personas que visitan Bogotá siempre van a los lugares populares como la 7 ma, La Plaza Bolívar, La Candelaria, entre otros, sin saber de la existencia de esta plaza y lo digo por mí también, muchas veces visité el centro histórico y no tenía la remota idea de este lugar.

La Plaza Núñez está ubicada sobre la calle Novena, entre carreras Séptima y Octava, en pleno centro histórico de Bogotá. Donde se puede apreciar el gran patio frontal de la casa del presidente de la República, una arquitectura antigua, y diferente a la que se aprecia en el resto de la ciudad.

A ella se puede llegar caminando por cualquiera de estas dos carreras, que van a dar, una cuadra más hacia el norte, hasta la Plaza de Bolívar. Es decir, si conociste la Plaza Bolívar, te perdiste de visitar esta plaza.

El acceso al público es de lunes a domingo, desde las 7 de la mañana hasta las 6 de la tarde. Es gratuito, no exigen identificación para ingresar, solo deberás permitir la requisa, por parte de un uniformado del Ejército de todas tus pertenencia y listo puedes ingresar disfrutar del lugar, y tomar muchas fotos.

Plaza Núñez is located on Ninth Street, between Seventh and Eighth careers, in the historic center of Bogota. Where you can see the large front yard of the house of the President of the Republic, an ancient architecture, and different from what is seen in the rest of the city.

It can be reached by walking through any of these two races, which will give, one block north, to the Plaza de Bolivar. That is to say, if you knew the Plaza Bolivar, you missed visiting this square.

Access to the public is from Monday to Sunday, from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. It is free, no identification is required to enter, you only have to allow the search by a uniformed Army of all your belongings and ready you can enter and enjoy the place, and take lots of pictures.
