    Hey Foodlovers!

This video and post is a quick review of a lovely little restaurant I found last week while on a short break in the Scottish Highland town of Pitlochry.

The restaurant is called the Coach House and is part of the Fishers hotel. I didn't stay at this hotel however it was located right next to the Bed and Breakfast I stayed at so I thought I would check it out on the first night I arrived in the town.

Lets take a quick look at the menu...

I decided to check out their authentic Italian pizza...."Freshly Handmade To Order with Fresh toppings, Hand Stretched Bases Made with the Finest Double Zero Flour. Stone Baked in Our New Moretti Forni Pizza Oven"

I went for the Salsicca with Italian Sausage and fresh Chilli for £13.00

I thought a Desperado beer with lime would be the perfect drink to wash it down with...

    Pizza and beer...a winning combination!

My Dad went for the Steak Burger at £15.95

My Mum went for the Pork and Chirzo burger also at £15.95

The pizza was kinda spicy and I thought if I ate the whole thing my mouth would be on fire when I finished it so I traded my Dad a slice of pizza for some chips.

The chips here are some of the best I have ever tried...they had a buttery taste to them, really crispy on the outside but soft and fluffy on the inside. I think this taste and crispiness comes from frying them in beef dripping.

For dessert my Dad went for the sticky toffee pudding and my mum picked the sticky toffee sundae both at £7.50

I don't have much of a sweet tooth so I decided not to have dessert ,especially after eating a large spicy pizza.

Out of curiosity I tried one spoonful of the toffee sundae which was delicious...

Instead of dessert I had a pint of Tennant's Larger with a dash of lime cordial.

Overall I really enjoyed the food here, the pizza was nice I would rate it 8/10 stars. The chips were amazingly tasty ,I should have got a side order to go with my pizza. If your ever in the area I would suggest checking this place out for the chips alone, they are that good.

The bill for 3 of us came to around £75 which is pretty standard restaurant pricing. I would say its good value for money and a nice atmosphere. I rate the overall experience and value 8/10 but the chips are 10/10 :D.

There is also the option to sit outdoors and watch the sun set over the surrounding Highlands while you watch the nightlife go by.
