Un gran abrazo a todos los amantes de la tecnología, es un honor traer la para la blockchain de HIVE a través de la comunidad GEEKZONE esta interesante interrogante que encabeza el titulo de la publicación: ¿Qué tanta tecnología puede existir detrás de un tablero de Ajedrez? Y la respuesta se encuentra en lo revolucionario de los tableros DGT. En mi más reciente cobertura deportiva vi estos tableros en funcionamiento, y me pareció un tema fascinante en el campo de la tecnología para traer a nuestra comunidad.

A big hug to all technology lovers, it is an honor to bring to the HIVE blockchain through the GEEKZONE community this interesting question that heads the title of the publication: How much technology can exist behind a chessboard? And the answer lies in the revolutionary DGT boards. In my most recent sports coverage I saw these boards in operation, and I found it a fascinating topic in the field of technology to bring to our community.

Ahora bien, imaginemos que tenemos un tablero donde las jugadas que hacemos puedan ser transmitidas directamente al computador, y a partir de allí a grandes pantallas, o a diversos portales de internet, de forma de incrementar el alcance de lo que está pasando en una determinada partida. En la imagen y en el recurso audiovisual, busco materializar esta idea, moviendo simultáneamente la pieza en mi tablero de entrenamiento y en el tablero mural, esto con la intención de demostrar lo sencillo en términos de tecnología de estas herramientas de trabajo. Sin embargo, en los tableros DGT esto es una realidad, si bien estos tableros no constituyen una innovación tecnológica reciente, nunca deja de impresionarme el nivel de sistema de sensores de lo que están construidos para detectar exactamente el movimiento de una pieza en particular, y así dar inicio a este proceso de retransmisión en directo de la partida de ajedrez.

Now, let's imagine that we have a board where the moves we make can be transmitted directly to the computer, and from there to large screens, or to various internet portals, in order to increase the scope of what is happening in a particular game. In the image and in the audiovisual resource, I seek to materialize this idea, simultaneously moving the piece on my training board and on the wall board, this with the intention of demonstrating how simple in terms of technology these working tools are. However, in the DGT boards this is a reality, although these boards are not a recent technological innovation, never ceases to impress me the level of sensor system of what they are built to detect exactly the movement of a particular piece, and thus start this process of live broadcast of the chess game.

Estos tableros tienen un espesor de 1.8cm que en su constitución tiene puertos para la conexión del reloj y del respectivo computador, al cual debe instalarse un software que el proveedor proporciona para que el tablero en la interacción con los movimientos de las piezas, así como el control de tiempo funcionen bien. En este torneo en particular la organización dispuso de uno de estos tableros en la mesa número uno, donde se enfrentan en teoría los jugadores más fuertes del torneo o los que típicamente pelean por los primeros puestos, de forma que el público presente pueda seguir la partida desde una distancia considerable de la mesa de juego, y de ese modo no perturbar la tranquilidad de los jugadores.

These boards have a thickness of 1.8cm that in its constitution has ports for the connection of the clock and the respective computer, to which must be installed a software that the supplier provides so that the board in the interaction with the movements of the pieces, as well as the time control work well. In this particular tournament the organization set up one of these boards at table number one, where in theory the strongest players of the tournament or those who typically fight for the first places face each other, so that the public present can follow the game from a considerable distance from the playing table, and thus not disturb the tranquility of the players.

El nivel de acabado del tablero en cuestión y de las piezas le da una estética impresionante, lo que le da un toque interesante a la mesa 01 del torneo. Siempre es agradable ver, que la mesa uno de los torneos de ajedrez tenga alfo especial, y uno de estos tableros sin lugar a dudas que materializa esta idea.

El Ajedrez el juego ciencia por excelencia, es bastante conocido, muchas personas aun no conociendo las reglas del juego han escuchado del mismo y algunas mas curiosas quedan paralizadas intentando comprender una determinada posición, al mismo tiempo que admiran a los jugadores en su proceso de reflexión. Es por eso que me pareció super oportuno traer esta temática, para reflexionar como la tecnología ha llegado en este fascinante deporte.
