Un cordial saludo amigos del Deporte, un fin de semana de muchas emociones donde Argentina se tituló campeón mundial de Futbol 2022, un acontecimiento que embarga de alegría a Suramérica. En medio de toda esta onda deportiva no podía faltar el ajedrez, por eso nos trasladamos a las instalaciones CC Paseo Central en Arequipa, para hacer la cobertura de un torneo de ajedrez escolar, cobertura que tuvo llena de muchas interacciones con papás, mamás, entrenadores, atletas y árbitros, de allí que me he inspirado para colocarle el título a esta entrega FullDeportiva.

ENGLISH

A cordial greeting friends of Sport, a weekend of many emotions where Argentina was titled world champion of Soccer 2022, an event that overwhelms South America with joy. In the midst of all this sporting wave could not miss chess, so we moved to the CC Paseo Central facilities in Arequipa, to cover a school chess tournament, coverage that was full of many interactions with parents, coaches, athletes and referees, hence I have been inspired to place the title to this FullDeportiva delivery.

La cobertura a este evento tuvo un ingrediente muy particular, y es que en el mismo estarían participando dos de mis alumnos Taylor y Varek, siendo esto su primera experiencia en un torneo escolar. Acá vemos a Varek materializando su primera victoria en un torneo de este tipo:

The coverage of this event had a very particular ingredient, and that is that two of my students Taylor and Varek would be participating in it, being this their first experience in a school tournament. Here we see Varek materializing his first victory in a tournament of this type:

Vale destacar que esta victoria significó el despertar de Varek quien había sido derrotado en la primera ronda por Adriel Colque, un atleta de alto rendimiento que con solo 06 años muestra un nivel de juego bastante fuerte, además que tiene una gran experiencia internacional, acá les comparto esta imagen cortesía de su papá Samin Colque:

It is worth noting that this victory meant the awakening of Varek who had been defeated in the first round by Adriel Colque, a high performance athlete who with only 06 years shows a fairly strong level of play, plus he has a great international experience, here I share this image courtesy of his father Samin Colque:

Esta imagen evoca la excelente actuación de Adriel en el Panamericano de Bolivia celebrado este año, en el que ocupó el Quinto Lugar, lo que clasificó a Adriel Colque al mundial de ajedrez que se celebrará en Grecia este venidero año. A propósito de este evento, el señor Samin solicita apoyo de las autoridades deportivas en el Perú y a la empresa privada, para que los diversos ajedrecistas que sueñan con participar en estos eventos puedan asistir.

This image evokes Adriel's excellent performance in the Pan-American Championship of Bolivia held this year, in which he took the Fifth Place, which qualified Adriel Colque to the World Chess Championship to be held in Greece this coming year. Regarding this event, Mr. Samin requests support from the Peruvian sports authorities and private companies, so that the various chess players who dream of participating in these events can attend.

No podíamos pasar por alto la interacción con el árbitro principal del evento Miguel Calla, quien además es un excelente entrenador. Él nos habla de los beneficios del ajedrez en los niños, cómo refuerza la personalidad de los mismos, y nos da un enfoque interesante de la derrota en el ajedrez, que es el de verla como una ganancia de experiencia, sabias palabras que sin lugar a dudas llevan a reflexionar tanto a grandes como a niños.

We could not overlook the interaction with the main arbiter of the event Miguel Calla, who is also an excellent coach. He talks about the benefits of chess in children, how it strengthens their personality, and gives us an interesting approach to defeat in chess, which is to see it as a gain of experience, wise words that undoubtedly lead to reflect both adults and children.

Los representante también los considero protagonistas de estos eventos, ellos con mucho amor llevan a sus niños a juagar Ajedrez. Se aprecia en la imagen a la señora Elizabeth Cabrera con mucho entusiasmo al ver a sus niños Brenda y Flavio participar en este evento. En esa misma onda la señora Marianela nos habla también de los beneficios del ajedrez:

I also consider the representatives to be the protagonists of these events, they lovingly take their children to play chess. In the picture you can see Mrs. Elizabeth Cabrera with much enthusiasm to see her children Brenda and Flavio participate in this event. In the same vein, Mrs. Marianela also tells us about the benefits of chess:

“…es un buen deporte, ayuda a activar el cerebro, ejercitarlo, entrenarlo, es lo que yo creo del ajedrez”

Y es realmente fascinante como ajedrecistas oír de las personas de los beneficios del deporte ciencia, a lo que se sumó también la opinión de la señora Lyla Lacunza madre de Khaled un niño genio que con dos años conoce las nociones básicas de este deporte:

“"...it is a good sport, it helps to activate the brain, to exercise it, to train it, that is what I believe about chess".”

And it is really fascinating as chess players hear from people about the benefits of the sport science, to which was also added the opinion of Mrs. Lyla Lacunza mother of Khaled a child genius who with two years knows the basics of this sport:

Finalmente me atreví a jugar una partida con una persona cuya identidad era incógnita, fue una partida bastante emocionante a ritmo 05 minutos para jugador, sin incremento de tiempo por jugada. En el recurso audiovisual podrás disfrutar de la totalidad de la misma, acá te comparto el momento en el que le hago jaque a mi oponente, pero el mismo no se percató este hecho:

Finally I dared to play a game with a person whose identity was unknown, it was a very exciting game at 05 minutes per player, with no time increment per move. In the audiovisual resource you can enjoy the whole game, here I share with you the moment in which I check my opponent, but he didn't notice this fact:
