Luego de la dulce experiencia que tuve con los pavos reales durante uno de mis paseos (que pueden visualizar Aquí) y luego de ver por millonésima vez la película de Kung Fu Panda 2 donde nuestro villano es un hermoso pavo real, decidí investigar si había algún tipo de origami de este bello animal y logre encontrar unos muy bonitos que no solo se distingue la belleza del pavo real sino que pueden abrir sus plumas así que el día de hoy vengo a compartirlo con ustedes para que lo intenten ya que realmente quedan muy lindos.

After the sweet experience I had with peacocks during one of my walks (which can be viewed Here) and after seeing for the millionth time the movie Kung Fu Panda 2 where our villain is a beautiful peacock, I decided to investigate if there was any kind of origami of this beautiful animal and I managed to find some very nice ones that not only distinguish the beauty of the peacock but can open their feathers so today I come to share it with you to try it because they are really very nice.

Símbolo espiritual (Spiritual symbol)

El pavo real es una de las aves más hermosas y llamativas que existen, no solo porque tienen una tierna carita y un carácter muy dulce con el ser humano, sino también por la belleza de sus plumas. Esos colores brillantes, la diversidad de los tonos verdes y azul y como no mencionar esas enormes plumas traseras que al abrirlas parece cientos de ojos que te estuvieran mirando fijamente, pero en realidad solo están coqueteando con las hembras. ¡Levante la mano quien tuvo el privilegio de captar el momento exacto donde desprende esas largas plumas traseras!

Pero más allá de su belleza indiscutible, es un símbolo de poder, fuerza, confianza y divinidad y como no serlo con esa apariencia que no se ve en ningún animal. También es símbolo de resurrección de Cristo ya que en la temporada de pascuas, esta bella ave cambia totalmente su plumaje.

The peacock is one of the most beautiful and striking birds that exist, not only because they have a tender face and a very sweet character with humans, but also because of the beauty of their feathers. Those bright colors, the diversity of green and blue tones and how not to mention those huge back feathers that when you open them seems like hundreds of eyes staring at you, but in reality they are just flirting with the females. But beyond its indisputable beauty, it is a symbol of power, strength, confidence and divinity and how could it not be with that appearance that is not seen in any animal. It is also a symbol of Christ's resurrection since during the Easter season, this beautiful bird completely changes its plumage.

¿Qué me inspiró? (What inspires me?)

Como bien dije al principio de la descripción, hace unos días fui a dar un paseo y al momento que se me cayó un pedazo de pan al piso aparecieron unos pavos reales al ataque para comérselo y me pedían que les diera más, si, me miraban con esos ojitos manipuladores y cedi ante ellos. Por otro lado, soy fan de las películas de Kung Fu Panda, sobre todo la segunda película donde el villano principal es un pavo real albino el cual me encanto como personaje tanto en su diseño como villano en sí, y también porque es un ave y yo amo a las aves. Y así fue como me inspire y me surgió la idea de hacer un pavo real de papel, aprendí a hacerlo viendo tutoriales en internet y aquí se los traigo con el paso a paso para que tengan el suyo en su casa.

As I said at the beginning of the description, a few days ago I went for a walk and when I dropped a piece of bread on the floor some peacocks appeared to attack me to eat it and asked me to give them more, yes, they looked at me with those manipulative eyes and I gave in to them. On the other hand, I am a fan of the Kung Fu Panda movies, especially the second movie where the main villain is an albino peacock which I loved as a character both in its design and as a villain itself, and also because it is a bird and I love birds. And that's how I got inspired and I came up with the idea of making a paper peacock, I learned how to do it watching tutorials on the internet and here I bring you the step by step so you can have yours at home.
