A greeting to all my friends and artists who make life in the hive community, we are already in the month of May, in my country in this month begins the rainy season, month of the cross of May, month of flowers, May is like saying the spring season that does not exist in my country; but May marks the end of the dry season. In Venezuela as I mentioned before we only have 2 seasons, winter, rainy season and summer which is a time where rainfall is scarce.
With the arrival of the rains everything begins to bloom, the arid hills begin to turn green, the suffocating heat disappears leaving a pleasant climate in the atmosphere, the flowers abound along the roads to pass to be in the city the flowers make their way to exhibit their beauty these flowers that bloom freely in nature give the impression that they call us to meet with her, like saying come, look at me, look at yourself open your senses and find yourself, the truth is that nature has the ability to transport us when we contact her and at that moment strengthens our self-love, a spiritual love that feeds on this connection that does not occur at any time.
Today I bring you a song dedicated to flowers, those little flowers that brighten our lives along the way. It is a theme of the American musician Sidney Bechet, who in search of better fortune went to a jazz festival in France and had very good receptivity and settled there in the late 40's, in 1952 I created this beautiful theme that I share with you today. This song at first I thought of doing it with the trumpet but I thought it would sound better as its original version with the clarinet.
