Hola queridos amigos de la comunidad de la Tecnología, las promesas siempre se deben cumplir en mi último post, estuve comentando un poco acerca de si es posible jugar en Linux, y también que les iba a traer un video configurando un entorno de desarrollo en Ubuntu para jugar y en cuál estaría instalando Fall Guys y lo estaría probando. Las cosas no salieron como esperaba de hecho tenía un gran avance en el video y en la instalación de los programas, pero llegando al último paso en cuál abrí Fall Guys recibí un error y en ese momento se me cayó el mundo porque todo el progreso que llevaba estaba siendo para nada, ya que lo más importante no había funcionado, me sentí un poco decepcionado por no lograr que funcionara busque el error que estaba pasando, pero no encontré alguna solución, creo que el problema viene de un driver de mi tarjeta AMD, así que me detuve por un tiempo para pensar lo que haría, luego surgieron algunos inconvenientes con mi salud y he estado yendo al médico las últimas semanas y por eso he estado ausente, pero como tenía prometido esto para ustedes los últimos días he estado configurando todo para poder mostrarles todo lo que podido hacer.

Things did not go as I expected in fact I had a great progress in the video and in the installation of the programs, but arriving to the last step in which I opened Fall Guys I received an error and at that moment the world fell down because all the progress I was making was for nothing, since the most important thing had not worked, I felt a little disappointed for not getting it to work, I looked for the error that was happening, but I did not find any solution, I think the problem comes from a driver of my AMD card, so I stopped for a while to think what I would do, then some inconveniences with my health arose and I have been going to the doctor the last weeks and that is why I have been absent, but as I had promised this for you the last days I have been configuring everything to be able to show you all what I could do.

Luego de pasar por ese momento triste donde no pude abrir el juego de Fall Guys, volví a Windows por unas semanas, buscando algunos juegos y probándolos, luego de hacer una lista de juegos, empece en la búsqueda de alguna distribución en la cual me sintiera cómoda y también pudiera instalar juegos, por eso me decidí por Manjaro una distribución basada en Arch Linux, pero que esta te trae todo configurado y te hace el proceso más fácil y en mi opinión la veo muy parecida a Windows 10 en ciertos aspectos. La configuración del entorno de desarrollo fue muy sencilla, de hecho seguí una guía de un canal de YouTube el cual me ayudo a instalar todo de manera correcta acá se los estaré dejando, Link Youtube Video

After going through that sad moment where I could not open the Fall Guys game, I went back to Windows for a few weeks, looking for some games and trying them, after making a list of games, I started looking for a distribution in which I felt comfortable and could also install games, so I decided for Manjaro a distribution based on Arch Linux, but this brings you all configured and makes the process easier and in my opinion I see it very similar to Windows 10 in certain aspects. Unas pequeñas instalaciones y configuraciones //Small installations and configurations

Para hacer un breve resumen de los programas más importantes los cuales instale ha sido Steam que todos los conocemos, el detalle en Linux para que funcione en Steam es a través de una herramienta que se llama Proton, en los últimos años se ha trabajado mucho con esta herramienta para implementarla en Steam la cual permite que sean compatibles los juegos de Steam que solo está disponible para Windows y en este caso podamos ejecutarlos en Linux, los pasos para activar el Proton es muy sencillo tan solo debemos ir la configuración de Steam y en Steam Play activar la configuración de Protón podremos elegir diferentes versiones en mi caso yo tengo tanto la experimental como la 7.0.4.

Proton además cuenta con una página la cual se llama ProtonDB que nos permite consultar si el juego es compatible y podemos ver los comentarios de los usuarios, en mi caso yo instale un juego que se llama HoloDrive el cual está solo disponible para Windows y aún teniendo el prooón activado el juego no me abría, hasta que busque en la página de ProtonDB y vi que varios usuarios recomendaban poner un comando en la configuración del juego en Steam, copie el comando y lo pegue en la configuración y Magia el juego me funciono, por eso es muy importante el papel que juega Proton en los jugos de Linux, ya que nos permite tener esa compatibilidad con la mayoría de los juegos aunque siempre habrá algún que otro juego que no podamos ejecutar.

El segundo programa que instale es Lutris y aunque aún no lo he probado con algunos juegos en un futuro muy cercano espero poder usarlo para descargar los juegos que no están disponibles a través de Steam, en este caso los juegos de Epic Games y de otras plataformas incluso podremos descargar los juegos de Steam a través de esta plataforma, lutris a través de su capa permite que sea posible instalar la mayoría de juegos que están disponibles, así que muy pronto les estaré trayendo un video acerca de lutris y probando algún juego.

Jugamos/We Playing Space Commander: War and Trade

Ha llegado el momento más divertido, finalmente podre mostrarles este juego que me ha tenido atrapado por un par de horas Space Commander: War and Trade, se trata de un juego donde estamos en el espacio y manejamos una nave y tendremos muchas aventuras y misiones por hacer, nuestro padre perteneció a este mundo de las naves y por un gran tiempo estuvo protegiendo el espacio, y ahora es nuestro turno hacerlo, tendremos que hacer misiones, hacer comercios para conseguir dinero y mejorar nuestras naves y crear nuestra flota.

Desde que comenzamos el juego nos dan la bienvenida, tenemos a un Primo que nos estará ayudando mucho durante el juego y un amigo de nuestro Padre que nos va guiando a través de algunas misiones que debemos hacer, no tardo mucho para que recibiéramos nuestro primer mensaje de ayuda, donde tenemos que ir a proteger una nave que esta siendo atacada, un tip que me ayudo mucho es a la hora de atacar las naves presionar la tecla Q para poder apuntar las naves con mayor precisión, aunque mi cámara no dejo ver muy bien y pido disculpas por eso, en la zona superior derecha tenemos unas barras las cuales nos indica el estado de salud que es color verde, y también una barra azul que indica el escudo, las naves enemigas en su mayoría también tienen escudo por lo que yo siempre me enfoco en una nave hasta destruirla, ya que si la dejo a mitad se recupera el escudo.

Una vez hayamos terminado las misiones que nos estarán diciendo podemos ir a un planeta a estacionar nuestra nave, es recomendable siempre ir a un planeta cercano de donde estemos, por el hecho de que tenemos una menor probabilidad de que nos hagan una emboscada las naves piratas y también consumimos menos combustible, en nuestro hangar podemos hacer muchas cosas, como cambiar de nave, comprar o vender naves, tenemos una tienda donde podremos comprar productos para luego ir a venderlos en otros planetas y ganar algo de dinero, normalmente se suele vender los productos en las naves de cargas que son las más grandes, también tenemos una bandeja de entrada donde recibimos mensajes para aceptar misiones, mientras más dinero nos ofrecen por las misiones serán más difíciles así que será todo un reto.
