Mi Primera Marcha LGBTI+ [ESP/ENG]

Como saben, el 28 de Junio se celebra el Día del Orgullo LGBTI+ y es tradición hacer una marcha para celebrar como conmemorar la importancia de este día, sin embargo, por razones que desconozco, no se puedo hacer la marcha ese día sino que se pautó para hoy 2 de Julio; nunca había ido a una marcha porque significaba tener problemas en mi casa y también porque no estaba muy de acuerdo con muchas cosas que se hacían durante esta.

Este año muchos me preguntaron si iba a ir porque como me compré la bandera del Orgullo Bisexual, pensaron que sí pero mi respuesta fue inicialmente negativa, realmente me daba miedo ir porque no sabía como era todo y tampoco quería ir sola, casi todas mis amistades me dijeron que no así que simplemente me resigné a no ir pero mi Mo @dimeilaz me alentó como se ofreció a acompañarme aun estando muy cansado porque el día de ayer se presentó y fue lo que más me motivo a ir.

La marcha empezaría a las 8 de la mañana pero no podía llegar tan temprano porque tenía muchas cosas que preparar antes de ir, estaba demasiado ansiosa, solo quería llegar y ya; por suerte pude llegar a el inicio debido a que este se retrasó bastante por la cantidad de gente que estaba asistiendo. Me sorprendió demasiado la cantidad de gente que fue, no esperaba para nada la cantidad de personas pero, a su vez, me llenó de demasiado orgullo y felicidad ver que cada día más y más personas se van uniendo a esta causa sin necesidad de ser parte de ella.

El recorrido fueron 6 kilómetros, nos preocupaba un poco el clima debido a que cuando salimos estaba muy nublado pero en el transcurso de todo fue aclarando hasta dejarnos con un hermoso y cálido sol que nos hizo sudar bastante; me encontré a muchísima gente, personas que tenía años sin ver y otras que sí sabía que estarían por allá. Habían personas con trajes y atuendos increíbles, más de uno me dejó boquiabierta con lo espectaculares que fueron y no dude en pedirle una foto a cada uno de los que más me llamaron la atención; sin olvidar a mis favoritos, los DinoGays.

De verdad fue muy bonito poder vivir esta experiencia y tachar otra meta o sueño de mi lista, creo que lo que más feliz me hizo fue que mi Mo @dimeilaz me acompañó en algo tan importante y significativo para mí como lo es esto, que alguien tan importante te apoye y se sienta orgulloso de ti por quién eres y cómo eres es la suficiente motivación para comerse al mundo. Obviamente no puedo olvidar mencionar el súper detalle que me hizo mi Mo durante la marcha debido a que vimos lo que creíamos eran unos gorros de unicornio que terminaron siendo unas pijamas gigantes de Unicornio las cuales había deseado desde que las vi por primera vez; yo no quería comprarlas porque no tenía el dinero para hacerlo pero mi Mo me la compró inmediatamente porque sabe lo mucho que me encantan las pijamas, las pijamas peludas y ¡LAS PIJAMAS DE UNICORNIO! La elegí rosada porque combina perfectamente con mi Unicornio de peluche llamado Lauren.

De verdad que hoy fue un día increíble, fui feliz en todo momento y nada salió mal, este día quedará grabado en mi memoria por siempre, de verdad será muy difícil que pueda olvidarlo como, también, me sirve de motivación para ir a la marcha del siguiente año; muchas gracias por pasarte por acá, espero te haya gustado mi vlog y nos vemos pronto💙

As you know, June 28th is celebrated as LGBTI+ Pride Day and it is tradition to have a march to celebrate and commemorate the importance of this day, however, for reasons unknown to me, the march couldn't be held that day but was scheduled for today July 2nd; I had never gone to a march because it meant having problems at home and also because I didn't agree with many things that were done during the march.

This year many asked me if I was going to go because since I bought the Bisexual Pride flag, they thought yes but my answer was initially negative, I was really afraid to go because I didn't know how everything was and I didn't want to go alone, almost all my friends told me no so I just resigned myself to not go but my Mo @dimeilaz encouraged me as he offered to accompany me even being very tired because yesterday he showed up and that was what motivated me the most to go.

The march would start at 8 in the morning but I couldn't arrive so early because I had many things to prepare before going, I was too anxious, I just wanted to get there and that's it; luckily I was able to arrive at the beginning because it was delayed due to the amount of people that were attending. I was very surprised by the amount of people that went, I didn't expect the amount of people but, at the same time, I was very proud and happy to see that every day more and more people are joining this cause without having to be part of it.

The route was 4 miles, we were a little worried about the weather because when we left it was very cloudy but in the course of everything was clearing up to leave us with a beautiful and warm sun that made us sweat a lot; I met a lot of people, people I had not seen for years and others that I knew would be there. There were people with incredible costumes and outfits, more than one left me speechless with how spectacular they were and I didn't hesitate to ask for a picture to each one of the ones that caught my attention; without forgetting my favorites, the DinoGays.

It was really nice to be able to live this experience and cross another goal or dream off my list, I think what made me happiest was that my Mo @dimeilaz accompanied me in something as important and meaningful to me as this is, that someone so important supports you and is proud of you for who you are and how you are is motivation enough to eat the world. Obviously I can't forget to mention the super detail that my Mo made me during the march because we saw what we thought were some unicorn hats that ended up being giant Unicorn pajamas which I had wanted since I first saw them; I didn't want to buy them because I didn't have the money to do so but my Mo bought them for me immediately because she knows how much I love pajamas, furry pajamas and UNICORN PJs! I picked it pink because it matches perfectly with my stuffed Unicorn named Lauren.

Truly today was an amazing day, I was happy at all times and nothing went wrong, this day will remain engraved in my memory forever, it will be very difficult for me to forget it, it also serves as motivation to go to the march next year; thank you very much for stopping by, I hope you liked my vlog and see you soon💙
