    Hello, friends especially foodies!


    After had delivered Christmas cake on December 22nd, Mom and I went to a Legendary Restaurant which well known for its’ steak, it was because mom really missed one of their special dish, by the way on this restaurant other branch which already closed permanently now, mom ate two portions of their fish steak when she was pregnant (and I am the only child so you could know that this restaurant has already been over decades). We never had been to their branch there, which we went to that day, we needed to go to the restaurant which was on the 2nd floor.


    THE OUTLOOK OF THE RESTAURANT

    I took the photo of the elevator to the restaurant, and the outlook of the restaurant

    I thought it was too ordinary for a steak house, no exclusive things there, just like any ordinary cheap design of café, it was weird.


    THE DINING AREA

    They had a quite large, cozy dining area which was clean and neat. They also had separated smoking area on their balcony terrace. Nice place to dine in!

    You could also take some pretty pict on the dining table with the flower mural on the wall or like us with the high rattan seat chair and also the plants on the back.


    THE DRINK BAR

    The unique thing here you could see how the barista prepared our drink, they also had coffee beside the fresh juices here.

    THE MENU

    Here they served western food, from their light meal like croquette, nachos, fries; soup; they also had variants of steak (like I told you, this one was a steak house), fish steak and its’ kind of, pasta and pizza, plus barbeque. For the drinks they also had many variants here, some had fruits in it too.

    OUR FOOD & THE OUTLOOK

    The food that we missed from this restaurant was BEEF BURGER STEAK and so sad that they told it was SOLD OUT when we came there (a night before there was a reservation which sold out the beef burger steak)…. This was actually one of their best, and we could only eat this dish here, so we were really upset and sad……………………… but because we were already starving and we already came there so we ordered the other menu… Mom’s came first, then the drink and last mine. Here how our lunch looked like

    The lunch looked delicious and fancy, but how about the taste??? Let’s talk about it!


    THE TASTE & THE FLAVOUR

    If you already watched my vlog, you already known what we ate, now we will talk about the taste and flavour of them, one by one, I will explain them briefly..

    Start from mom’s

    PASTA (Spaghetti) BOLOGNAISE

    It had savory flavour, with high quality beef cooked in bolognaise sauce. Mom added their authentic chilli sauce and also their tomato ketchup to bring extra sweet, sour and spicy. The spaghetti they used was perfect, in perfect hardness, so delicious after mom added the chilli and tomato ketchup (by the way you should try their authentic chilli sauce and tomato ketchup cause it tasted like no other). Ok first dish was delicious (after mom added their ketchup and chilli sauce)!

    FISH & CHIPS

    It had savory flavour. The crispy skin was separated with the fish meat which was not good for it, I mean it supposed to be light separately, I could see that they didn’t use really fresh fish for this fish & chips, luckily they fried it well, no raw fish here… It served with sour sweet tartar sauce. It also served with super fresh tasty salad in thousand island dressing (mom and I love it much) and also super crunchy tasty salted French fries.. OK the fish was just ok, but the salad and fries were awesome!

    BOB MARLEY MOCKTAIL

    It was the only one mocktail without soda, I chose it cause it had the combination of fruits juice (strawberry, orange and mango) plus the melon syrup. It had the sweet and sour flavour, and somehow the combination made a bit savory flavour which was weird, right?


    THE PRICE

    We should pay 211,365 IDR or around 15 USD for our lunch, quite expensive, right?

    MY CONCLUSION

    One thing that made a lesson for us, to always call this restaurant before we come cause they could be sold out the menu which awkwardly they couldn’t make again (I was suspicious it was not freshly made and they only fried or processed the frozen processed meat), here the pasta was quite well, the fish was a nay, and they could serve great salad and fries.
