A recitation of poem ‘Protidan’ by Jasimuddin

I spent my childhood in the village. Poet Jasimuddin is a popular name among those like me who have grown up in villages. Most of his poems depict the village. That is why poet Jasimuddin is called Polli Kobi (A Rural Poet). He was born on January 1, 1904, and died on March 14, 1976. Today, I am reciting ’Protidan’ poem from among his many popular poems. It is a poem of selfless love. Here the poet has endured hundreds of pains but wished his lover happiness and peace. That's what real love feels like. However, this is the first time I have recited a poem by Jasimuddin. I hope you will enjoy it.
