Nirmalendu Gun is one of the most popular poets of the present time. He is one of the few poets to have soared to prominence in his lifetime. He was born in June 21, 1945. He has wandered in different branches of poetry. In his poems, he has written about all kinds of issues ranging from love, separation to politics. Of the many poems written, Maanush is one of the most popular and my favorite. Reading this poem, at first it may seem like a lot of random stuff, but if you think deeply, you can find many underlying meanings. I recited the poem and I hope you all will enjoy it.
