♦️ Hive aterrizó en Lima, Perú 🛬 BlockchainCon 2023 - DAY ONE - [Eng/Spa]

Llevar HIVE a la BlockchainCon llevó mucha dedicación de parte de varias personas, quisiera agradecerles a todas. Para nosotros acá en Lima fue un tema logístico agotador, y fue hermoso ver todo materializado en ese momento.

Sí me esperaba algo, pero el cariño y la curiosidad de todo el público peruano me tomó por total sorpresa. Las personas se mostraron muy receptivas, y muy interesadas en Hive y todo lo que el proyecto representa.

Las comunidades locales, como AndinoDAO y otras son super amigables y durante todas las interacciones anteriores al evento, como en el Club Bitcoin donde tuve la oportunidad de asistir un par de veces, dejaron bien claro que aquí la idea es seguir creciendo todos de la mano. Eso me encantó, me hizo sentir tranquilo y como debería ser, empecé a darme cuenta que todos tenemos un fin en común.

Muchas ideas, enfoques y hasta ideales diferentes, pero en punto todos estamos en la misma habitación, con diferentes historias de cómo llegamos ahí pero con esa misma pasión, BITCOIN, y la idea de que un mundo más libre es un mundo mejor.

Éso me parece increíble. Un gran saludo a Miguel, y a Daniel que nos apoyaron con algunas fotografías y con lo más importante, la buena onda que nos hace sentir en familia a pesar de que un platillo de ceviche es muy diferente de una arepa. Acá somos todos Web3 ;)

Bringing HIVE to BlockchainCon took a lot of dedication from several people, I would like to thank them all. For us here in Lima it was an exhausting logistical issue, and it was beautiful to see it all materialize at that moment.

I was expecting something, but the affection and curiosity of the Peruvian public took me by surprise. People were very receptive, and very interested in Hive and all that the project represents.

The local communities, like AndinoDAO and others are super friendly and during all the interactions prior to the event, like in the Bitcoin Club where I had the opportunity to attend a couple of times, they made it very clear that the idea here is to keep growing all hand in hand. I loved that, it made me feel at ease and as it should be, I started to realize that we all have a common goal.

Many different ideas, approaches and even ideals, but in point we are all in the same room, with different stories of how we got there but with that same passion, BITCOIN, and the idea that a freer world is a better world.

That seems incredible to me. A big hello to Miguel, and to Daniel who supported us with some pictures and with the most important thing, the good vibe that makes us feel like family even though a ceviche dish is very different from an arepa. We are all Web3 here ;)

La cantidad y variedad de proyectos que estuvieron fue increíble, y es que hubieron propuestas tan dispares como por ejemplo había un stand que vendía coleccionables en PLATA y ORO certificado, y aceptaba cualquier criptomoneda como método de pago! A eso le llamo yo, ir directo al grano jeje... No quiero dar spoilers! Pero vamos a estar hablando más profundamente acerca de algunos proyectos sobresalientes que pude distinguir.

Me tomo muy en serio esa parte del NetWorking, hay que conocer a las personas que nos hablan, sus ideas y proyectos son el punto de partida, y los límites no existen amigos. Nunca sabes cuándo, cómo ni quién te va a sorprender con una idea disruptiva.

The amount and variety of projects that were there was incredible, and there were so many different proposals, for example there was a stand that sold collectibles in certified SILVER and GOLD, and accepted any cryptocurrency as a payment method! That's what I call, go straight to the point hehe .... I don't want to give spoilers! But let's be talking more in depth about some outstanding projects I was able to distinguish.

I take that part of NetWorking very seriously, you have to get to know the people who talk to us, their ideas and projects are the starting point, and limits don't exist my friends. You never know when, how or who will surprise you with a disruptive idea.

También quisiera decir que Natalia, mi compañera de vida, de proyectos y de amor 💞 hizo un trabajo espectacular, creando lazos y relaciones duraderas en el tiempo, enfocándose en las personas y sus inquietudes propias de cada ser pensante.

Porque ante todo somos personas, no solo números en las estadísticas de una nueva red social monetizable.

Somos una comunidad de personas increíbles unidas por los mismos intereses, eso es lo hermoso de todo esto y para mi fue muy bonito vernos a todos integrados por una misma misión.

Agradecimientos totales a Natalia por todo su trabajo, gran apoyo para mi en momentos donde MUCHA GENTE NOS PREGUNTABA MUCHAS COSAS MUY COMPLEJAS! jaja, supimos ser versátiles y manejarlo de la mejor manera para todos.

Estamos preparados para más, y es que vienen muchas cosas más amigos. Atentos.

I would also like to say that Natalia, my partner in life, projects and love 💞 did a spectacular job, creating bonds and lasting relationships over time, focusing on people and their own concerns of every thinking being.

Because first and foremost we are people, not just numbers in the statistics of a new monetizable social network.

We are a community of incredible people united by the same interests, that is the beauty of all this and for me it was very nice to see us all integrated by the same mission.

Total thanks to Natalia for all her work, great support for me in moments where MANY PEOPLE ASKED US A LOT OF VERY COMPLEX QUESTIONS! haha, we knew how to be versatile and handle it in the best way for everyone.

We are ready for more, and there is a lot more to come friends. Stay tuned.

Me hubiese gustado tomar más fotos, pero no tuve demasiado chance. El día dos saqué algunas tomas más, ¡mañana les muestro!

Por mi parte, quedo muy contento con mi participación en tan lindo evento, sabiendo la responsabilidad que conlleva transmitir el conocimiento de nuestra red a un público que probablemente nunca he escuchado nada de nosotros. Dejar una buena primera impresión es básico, para mi el reto está en ubicar el área de interés de la persona que tengo en frente, para poder guiarle de la mejor manera. Despertar su curiosidad innata, ése es el reto.

Reto que asumimos con mucha responsabilidad.

Terminamos muuuy felices y muuuy agotados ese primer día, y sabiendo que teníamos más por delante! Eso nos motivó a dar todo hasta el final, saber que aún hasta la noche habían personas interesadas en recibir la información. Y sobre todo hacerme la pregunta... Si no hago este trabajo, quién lo va a hacer? ¿Quién lo va a hacer con tanto cariño y dedicación como yo? ¡Nadie! Así que toca tomar acción por nosotros mismos.

Si algo me quedó como experiencia del primer día, es que hay que tomar acción. Lo demás se va dando.

I would have liked to take more pictures, but I didn't have much of a chance. On day two I took some more shots, I'll show you tomorrow!

For my part, I am very happy with my participation in such a nice event, knowing the responsibility that comes with transmitting the knowledge of our network to an audience that probably has never heard anything about us. To leave a good first impression is basic, for me the challenge is to locate the area of interest of the person I have in front of me, to be able to guide them in the best way. To awaken their innate curiosity, that is the challenge.

A challenge that we take on with a lot of responsibility.

We ended up very happy and very exhausted that first day, and knowing that we had more ahead of us! That motivated us to give everything until the end, knowing that even until the night there were people interested in receiving the information. And above all, to ask myself the question.... If I don't do this work, who is going to do it? Who is going to do it with as much love and dedication as me? Nobody! So it's time to take action for ourselves.

If there is one thing that stayed with me as an experience of the first day, it is that you have to take action. The rest will follow.
