Y al norte del Perú está, Jaen. Les muestro un poco. [ENG/SPA]

Cuando llegamos a Jáen veníamos de una ruta que tuvo sus tropezamos, así que llegamos un poco cansados, y con presupuesto reducido.

Luego de que trabajamos unas horas recién al llegar, fuimos a buscar hospedaje, tropezamos a un artesano que nos habló de un lugar y afortunadamente pudimos quedarnos allí con nuestros gatos y todo tranquilo. Ya se había hecho de noche, hora de descansar y al siguiente día...

Ya fuimos a comer un almuerzo popular, estuvo muy bueno y sobre todo mirar las diferentes opciones de cosas que pues no conocíamos, Natalia pidió Pampanito frito, pampanito es un pescado local. Una de las cosas que más disfrutamos como viajeros es probar los sabores diferentes en cada lugar que pasamos. Fue un 10/10.

When we arrived in Jáen we came from a route that had its stumbles, so we arrived a little tired, and with a reduced budget.
After we worked for a few hours upon arrival, we went to look for lodging, stumbled upon a craftsman who told us about a place and fortunately we were able to stay there with our cats and everything was quiet. It was already dark, time to rest and the next day....
We went to eat a popular lunch, it was very good and especially to look at the different options of things that we didn't know, Natalia ordered Pampanito frito, pampanito is a local fish. One of the things we enjoyed the most as travelers is to try the different flavors in every place we passed. It was a 10/10.

El centro es bonito, se puede caminar tranquilamente aunque hay bastante gente, sobre todo a las tardes los fines de semana. Las áreas verdes son cuidadas con mucho énfasis, y las personas en general son respetuosos hacia las flores y todas las plantas.

El malecón de la ciudad es muy pero muy bonito, en el vídeo se aprecia mucho mejor. Es pequeño pero compacto, hay lugares de comida, espacio para relajarse, y espacio para caminar. De los malecones más bonitos que he visto.

The center is nice, you can walk quietly although it is quite crowded, especially in the evenings on weekends. The green areas are cared for with great emphasis, and the people in general are respectful towards the flowers and all the plants.
The city's malecon is very, very nice, and the video shows it much better. It is small but compact, there are places to eat, space to relax, and space to walk. One of the most beautiful boardwalks I have ever seen.

Ya empezábamos a agarrarle la onda los platos típicos, y a dar las primeras probaditas al picante... En Perú les gusta bastante, y hay diferentes recetas y variedades. Los restaurantes suelen tener un ambiente como familiar, y la atención es buena. La bebida de cebada es especialmente buena, no conocíamos esa bebida y el sabor nos resultó desconcertante. Ojalá todos pudieran probarlo, es super refrescante.

Los motocarros son otra curiosidad del Perú, son el medio de transporte más usado y no solo para transportar pasajeros, hay motocarros más potentes que son pensados para transporte de carga, y otros trabajos así... Los motocarros dan para un video entero!

We were already starting to get the hang of the typical dishes, and to give the first tastes of spicy... In Peru they like it a lot, and there are different recipes and varieties. The restaurants usually have a family atmosphere, and the service is good. The barley drink is especially good, we did not know that drink and the taste was disconcerting. I wish everyone could try it, it is super refreshing.
The motorcycle carts are another curiosity of Peru, they are the most used means of transportation and not only to transport passengers, there are more powerful motocarros that are thought for cargo transportation, and other jobs like that.... The motorcycle carts are enough for a whole video!
