Today I bring for you a new cover and this time it's an iconic song from the American band, Creedence Clearwater Revival, which is titled "Have You Ever Seen the Rain?" included in their album "Pendulum" released in 1970. With the end of the 60's and the beginning of the 70's the composer John Fogerty wrote a song that transcended as an anthem through the decades and overcoming the barriers between genres.

The lyrics talk about a certain overwhelming feeling that is found in the days when everything seems to go wrong, even when the days that should be sunny turn into rainy ones. A way of talking about how times can become hard and unfeasible and faith doesn't seem to work under any factor. Like a pessimistic omen, where the worst is in store after a good time, Creedence Clearwater Revival does justice to the feelings of many of us. That's why this song becomes timeless, because bad times have always existed and will always exist. But eventually, that rain will stop at some point even if it's hard to believe.

El día de hoy traigo para ustedes un nuevo cover y esta vez se trata de icónica canción de la banda estadounidense, Creedence Clearwater Revival, la cual se titula "Have You Ever Seen the Rain?" incluida en su disco "Pendulum" lanzada en el año 1970. Con el fin de los 60's y el comienzo de los 70's el compositor John Fogerty escribió una canción que trascendió cómo un himno a través de las décadas y superando las barreras entre géneros.

La letra nos habla sobre cierta sensación sobrecogedora que se halla en los días en lo que todo parece salir mal, incluso cuando los días que debían ser soleados se transforman en lluviosos. Una forma de hablar sobre como los tiempos pueden volverse duros e inviables y la fe no parece funcionar bajo ningún factor. Cómo un presagio pesimista, dónde se depara lo peor luego de una buena época, Creedence Clearwater Revival hace justicia al sentir de muchos de nosotros. También quisiera resaltar que la canción fue escrita por Fogerty tras la salida de su hermano de la banda sin embargo, un dato muy alentador y precioso es que él decía que la canción le recordaba a su hija por aquello de que la lluvia también trae un rastro de luz arcoiris.
