Hello traveling friends, today I visited again the Lady of Stone church in the north of Portugal but this post is special for two reasons, firstly because after many attempts they gave me permission to fly my drone over the chapel and also for the first time to see the church decorated with lights because of the festivities: "The pilgrimage to Senhor da Pedra" lasts a week and is celebrated because of the Holy Trinity Sunday, this festivity is part of the Gulpilhares tradition without further ado enjoy my experience.🌏🚩

Hola amigos viajeros, hoy visite nuevamente la iglesia Senora de la piedra en la zona norte de Portugal pero este post es especial por dos razones primero porque luego de muchos intentos me dieron permiso de pilotear mi drone encima de la capilla y tambien por primera vez ver la iglesia decorada con luces por causa de las fiestas: "La romería a Senhor da Pedra" tiene una duracion de una semana y se celebra por causa del domingo de la santisima trinidad, esta fiesta forma parte de la tradicion de Gulpilhares sin mas que agregar disfruta de mi experiencia.🌏🚗⛵

My mother lives very close to this beach and as a religious person I always go here to celebrate these beautiful festivities, they last a week and all the residents of the area come to visit the chapel to thank God for all the good things in their lives, as a tradition they light a candle that symbolizes a promise, if it is fulfilled the following year comes to light another as a sign of gratitude, personally I do not do these things because I am not a big fan of Catholic themes but see the significance of the chapel in people's lives is an experience worth evidencing in the spring!🚗⛵🍍

Mi madre vive muy cerca de esta playa y como persona religiosa siempre que puedo paso por aqui para celebrar estas hermosas fiestas, tienen una duracion de una semana y todos los moradores de la zona vienen a visitar la capilla para dar gracias a Dios por todas las cosas buenas en sus vidas, como tradicion encienden una vela que simboliza una promesa, de ser cumplida vienen el ano a seguir para encender otra como senal de agradecimiento, en lo personal no hago estas cosas porque no soy muy fanatico de los temas catolicos pero ver el significado de la capilla en las vidas de las personas es una experiencia que vale la pena evidenciar en la primavera!🚩🌏⛪

This relic of Portugal has more than 300 years of history and to this day it is among the most beautiful monuments in Europe and I never looked but I don't know if it is the only chapel built on rocks in the sea, when it is night the High tide does not allow access to it, but many pilgrims throw off their shoes to access it and pray, in my case I took them off to give you the best photos! Before Christianity settled, the place was a pagan altar to natural gods.🚩🌏⛪

esta reliquia de Portugal tiene mas de 300 anos de historia y hasta el dia de hoy se situa entre los monumentos mas hermosos de Europa y nunca busque pero no se si es la unica capilla construida en unas rocas dentro del mar, cuando es de noche la marea alta no permite el acceso hacia ella, pero muchos peregrinos se tiran los zapatos para acceder a ella y poder rezar, en mi caso me los quite para poder darles las mejores fotos a ustedes! antes de asentarse el cristianismo el lugar era un altar pagano a dioses naturales.🍍🚩

I don't want to dwell on describing the church because on my first visit I talked a lot about it and well, sadly it left in my hacked account but you can search for its history in my old account if you are interested in learning more! Visiting the chapel is interesting because on the way back you are allowed to fish or surf, also if you ask permission from ANAC you can fly your drone.🚩⛵

no quiero detenerme en describir la iglesia porque en mi primera visita hable mucho de ella y bueno tristemente se fue en mi cuenta hackeada pero puedes buscar su historia en mi cuenta antigua si te interesa conocer mas! visitar la capilla es interesante porque a la vuelta es permitido pescar o hacer surf, tambien si pides permiso a la ANAC puedes volar tu drone🌏🍍.

A very incredible historical fact of this chapel is that a few kilometers away remains of human activity were found that date back more than 100 thousand years of antiquity and it is believed that they were one of the first settlers of Gulpilhares, they probably settled in the area in search of resources until Today one of the most lucrative economic activities in the village is fishing and it has been so for several generations.🚩⛪⛵

Un dato historico muy increible de esta capilla es que algunos kilometros se encontraron restos de actividad humana que remontaban a mas de 100mil anos de antiguedad y se cree que fueron unos de los primeros pobladores de Gulpilhares probablemente se acentaron en el area en busca de recursos hasta el dia de hoy una de las actividades economicas mas lucrativas de la aldea es la pesca y ha sido asi en varias generaciones.🌏🚗⛪

At the level of piloting my drone, the permit took two weeks to be approved and it was a relaxing experience, the wind that comes from the sea did not present a problem for me just to make the turns, I do not know if it is from the Mavic2 but a goal is lost very far to mark it and make the turn, then you have to put a random point and there is a problem! xD nothing else to criticize this beauty of drone!🌏⛵

A nivel de pilotear mi drone el permiso demoro dos semanas en ser aprobado y fue una experiencia relajante el viento que viene del mar no me presento problema solo para realizar los giros, no se si es del Mavic2 pero se pierde muy lejos un objetivo para marcarlo y realizar el giro, entonces hay que poner un punto aleatorio y alli da problema! xD de resto nada que criticar a esta belleza de drone!🍍🚩⛵
