Happy Tuesday, dear friends of Hive Open Mic! Time continues to pass inexorably and we from this community continue to bring beautiful songs and also reflecting on the themes presented to us by our featured artists. In this week #174, the chosen theme is Beacon of Light, by our dear friend @gloriaolar.
Yesterday, I saw several presentations in the community of artists like @rosana6 and @thonyt05 who related the theme with that being of light that is God, who gives peace, tranquility and is also a true beacon in the midst of darkness as both expressed it, so I can say that I was inspired by them to present the theme Turn on a Light, by the American composer Marcos Witt. This song belongs to the album of the same name, released in 1999.
There is a bible verse that says that "No one lights a lamp to hide it, quite the contrary: it is placed in a high place, so that it may give light to all who enter the house." And is that, the song "Turn on a light" by Marcos Witt invites to radiate love and hope in a public and accessible way, sharing a luminous message that guides and brings clarity to those who listen to it, just like a lamp in the dark. I hope you like my version.

El tiempo sigue pasando inexorablemente y nosotros desde esta comunidad seguimos trayendo hermosas canciones y reflexionando además los temas que nos presentan nuestros artistas destacados. En esta semana #174, el tema escogido es Faro de Luz, por nuestra querida amiga @gloriaolar.
Ayer, veía varias presentaciones en la comunidad de artistas como @rosana6 y @thonyt05 quienes relacionaban la temática con ese ser de luz que es Dios, quien da paz, tranquilidad y además es un verdadero faro en medio de la oscuridad como ambos lo expresaron, así que puedo decir que en ellos me inspiré para presentarles el tema Enciende una Luz, del compositor estadounidense Marcos Witt. Este tema, pertenece al álbum homónimo, que salió en el año 1999.
Hay un verso de la biblia que dice que “Nadie enciende una lámpara para esconderla, todo lo contrario: se pone en un lugar alto, para que alumbre a todos los que entran en la casa.” Y es que, la canción "Enciende una luz" de Marcos Witt invita a irradiar el amor y la esperanza de manera pública y accesible, compartiendo un mensaje luminoso que guía y trae claridad a aquellos que lo escuchan, al igual que una lámpara en la oscuridad. Espero que les guste mi versión.
