¿Qué tal a todos amigos? Espero la semana haya estado excelente y tengamos muchos ánimos de traer más música a éste ecosistema. Ya me conocen, mi nombre es Jesús Fernández y soy el usuario nazatpt, un saludo especial a todos, hoy quiero invitarlos a disfrutar de mi presentación.

El tema que escogí se titula "La bikina" un precioso tema compuesto por el músico y arreglista mexicano Rubén Fuentes, artista que como muchos otros han dejado huellas en increíbles obras a las cuales suelen tener muchas versiones, así mismo al estilo del popular José Alfredo Jiménez.

Una versión sobre el origen de esta obra, indica que Fuentes la compuso después de un paseo por la playa, donde su hijo le comentó que las mujeres que llevaban bikinis deberían llamarse bikinas. Otra versión afirma que la canción está inspirada en la época de los cristeros. Otra historia más, contada por Fuentes, afirma que primero compuso la versión instrumental y se la dio a Juan Garcia Esquivel, este la llamó The Beginning y, más tarde, ese título en inglés fue deformado hasta convertirse en La Bikina.

Creo que el título le ha dado renombre a ésta pieza, porque con otro nombre no lo llamativo de ella no se hiciera tan popular. Cuando era pequeño y escuché ese título, "Bikina", no sabía muy bien de que se hablaba, porque esa palabra nunca la había escuchado ni leído. Pero como el hijo de Fuentes decía, así mismo pensaba yo, que era una mujer con bikini en la playa.

Solitaria se la pasa la bikina, quizás ésta reflexión y un poco más de contexto en la letra, nos dice que ésta mujer sufrió por un amor el que la dejó destrozada, pero aún hay puertas abiertas para revivir una llama. Ya que el personaje que canta es alusivo a un cortejo esquivo. La bikina no conoce el amor. Y de esa forma el cantante sufre al no tener la misma receptividad por parte de ella.

Es una hermosa canción que perdura en el tiempo, sobre todo también por las versiones que han existido durante todas éstas épocas. La del artista Luis Miguel que es una de las que me han encantado mucho. Y la del artista venezolano de ésta región oriental como lo es Gualberto Ibarreto.

What's up everybody? I hope the week has been excellent and we have a lot of encouragement to bring more music to this ecosystem. You already know me, my name is Jesús Fernández and I am the user nazatpt, a special greeting to all, today I want to invite you to enjoy my presentation.

The song I chose is called "La bikina " a beautiful song composed by the Mexican musician and arranger Rubén Fuentes, an artist who like many others have left their mark in incredible works which usually have many versions, also in the style of the popular José Alfredo Jiménez.

One version about the origin of this work indicates that Fuentes composed it after a walk on the beach, where his son told him that women wearing bikinis should be called bikinas. Another version states that the song was inspired by the time of the Cristeros. Yet another story, told by Fuentes, states that he first composed the instrumental version and gave it to Juan Garcia Esquivel, who called it The Beginning and, later, that English title was distorted to become La Bikina.

I think that the title has given this piece its renown, because with another name it would not have been so popular. When I was a child and I heard that title, "Bikina", I did not know very well what it was talking about, because I had never heard or read that word. But as Fuentes' son said, I thought it was a woman in a bikini on the beach.

*Solitaria se la pasa la bikina", perhaps this reflection and a little more context in the lyrics, tells us that this woman suffered for a love that left her shattered, but there are still open doors to revive a flame. Since the character who sings is allusive to an elusive courtship. *La bikina no conoce el amor (The bikina does not know love). And in that way the singer suffers from not having the same receptivity from her.

It is a beautiful song that lasts in time, especially because of the versions that have existed during all these eras. The one by the artist Luis Miguel is one that I have loved very much. And the one of the Venezuelan artist of this eastern region as it is Gualberto Ibarreto.
