The Truman Show (en España, El show de Truman (una vida en directo); en Hispanoamérica, The Truman Show: Historia de una vida) es una película estadounidense de 1998 de comedia dramática y ciencia ficción dirigida por Peter Weir, escrita por Andrew Niccol, y producida por Edward S. Feldman, Niccol, Scott Rudin y Adam Schroeder. El filme está protagonizado por Jim Carrey en el papel de Truman Burbank; adoptado y criado por una corporación dentro de un show televisivo de realidad simulada que se centra en su vida, hasta que lo descubre y decide escapar. El resto del reparto está compuesto por Laura Linney, Noah Emmerich, Natascha McElhone, Ed Harris, Holland Taylor y Brian Delate.

Feldman, Niccol, Scott Rudin, and Adam Schroeder. The film stars Jim Carrey in the role of Truman Burbank; adopted and raised by a corporation on a simulated reality television show that focuses on his life, until he discovers it and decides to escape. The rest of the cast is made up of Laura Linney, Noah Emmerich, Natascha McElhone, Ed Harris, Holland Taylor, and Brian Delate.

Es interesante como la fisión puede compararse con la realidad y marcar puntos interesantes en nuestra vida.

Esta película nos muestra una realidad que en estos tiempos parece una locura pero vemos con naturalidad y da miedo pensar como nos hemos adaptado a vivir bajo un esquema tan parecido a la película.

Prácticamente hacemos lo mismo todos los dias y aunque digamos que no, en pequeñas partes si es asi.

Quién sabe si vivimos pre programados o la vida misma nos dirige hacia la misma dirección, la verdad no lo sabremos solo nos queda vivir y no caer en lo repetitivo.

Existe un mundo más allá de lo que podemos ver, solo necesitamos abrir nuestra mente.

My Final Thought...

It is interesting how fission can be compared to reality and mark interesting points in our life.

This film shows us a reality that in these times seems crazy but we see naturally and it is scary to think how we have adapted to living under a scheme so similar to the film.

We practically do the same thing every day and even if we say no, in small parts if it is so.

Who knows if we live pre-programmed or life itself directs us in the same direction, the truth is that we will not know, we only have to live and not fall into repetition.

There is a world beyond what we can see, we just need to open our mind.
