Hace un tiempo me inspiré en una fotografía de la fotógrafa Magdalena Bagrianow para crear una ilustración llamada "Flor del desierto" la imagen quedo muy linda, no era 100% realista ya que es una técnica que yo aún no manejo sin embargo me gustó, más no me enamoro la imagen y luego de haberla publicado simplemente la dejé allí almacenada, no la tokenize me dije a mi misma quizás en el futuro la retome y la mejore. Por otro lado hace ya algún tiempo tuve la oportunidad de leer el libro “Los hombres son de Martes y las mujeres son de Venus” un dato muy interesante que menciona el libro es que una de las características de las Venusianas es decir de las mujeres es “la comisión de mejoramiento” rallos si algo no lo adoramos definitivamente creemos que debemos mejorarlo y yo como buena Venusiana de vez en cuando me gusta mejorar algunos de mis trabajos, eso me sirve de práctica para mejorar mis técnicas, aunque a veces se me pasa la mano y termino haciendo algo completamente diferente como es el caso de la ilustración que hoy les presento.

Some time ago I was inspired by a photograph of the photographer Magdalena Bagrianow to create an illustration called "Flor del desierto" the image was very nice, it was not 100% realistic as it is a technique that I still do not handle but I liked it, but I did not fall in love with the image and after having published it I just left it there stored, I did not tokenize it I said to myself maybe in the future I will take it up again and improve it. On the other hand some time ago I had the opportunity to read the book "Men are from Tuesday and women are from Venus" a very interesting fact that the book mentions is that one of the characteristics of Venusian women is "the commission of improvement" if something we do not love it we definitely believe that we must improve it and I as a good Venusian from time to time I like to improve some of my work, that serves me as practice to improve my techniques, although sometimes I overdo it and end up doing something completely different as is the case of the illustration that I present to you today.

Para este trabajo primero empecé por modificar la nariz aunque en la fotografía original la niña tiene la nariz un poco más ancha esta vez yo decidí perfilarla un poco, luego quise darle un aspecto más realista a los ojos así que pinté de nuevo parte del ojo, después quite la flor de su rostro, fue en ese momento que me di cuenta que le daría un aspecto completamente diferente a esta imagen, después dibuje el cuello, los hombros, cabello y así fui pintando cada uno de los elementos de esta composición.

For this work I first started by modifying the nose although in the original photograph the girl has a slightly wider nose this time I decided to outline it a little, then I wanted to give a more realistic look to the eyes so I painted again part of the eye, then I removed the flower from her face, it was at that moment that I realized that it would give a completely different look to this image, then I drew the neck, shoulders, hair and so I was painting each of the elements of this composition.

Mientras trabajaba en esta ilustración me recordaba a muchas de las ilustraciones de Eva estando en el jardín del Edén que observaba en los libros de religión que leía cuando era niña y pensé que podía recrear algo así, pase toda la noche trabajando en esta ilustración hasta las 10:30 de la mañana que el sueño me venció y dormí durante el resto del día, a las 8 de la noche retomé la ilustración y vi el detalle que faltaba: la serpiente sin embargo ya había dejado el video para esta publicación codificándose y es un proceso que tarda muchas horas por eso decidí subir el video tal cual como ya estaba aunque en la ilustración final si dibuje la serpiente. While I was working on this illustration it reminded me of many of the illustrations of Eve being in the garden of Eden that I saw in the religion books I read as a child and I thought I could recreate something like that, I spent all night working on this illustration until 10:30 in the morning when sleep overcame me and I slept for the rest of the day: 30 in the morning that sleep overcame me and I slept for the rest of the day, at 8 pm I resumed the illustration and saw the missing detail: the snake however I had already left the video for this publication coding and it is a process that takes many hours so I decided to upload the video as it was already although in the final illustration if I draw the snake.
