Hello everyone again!
We have returned, after a long time to Monster Hunter World, with @josecarrerag and the truth is, I don't remember why we stopped playing such a good video game. The possibility of arming your character in 1,000 different ways, with defenses against each state and element, the ability to use those states against monsters yourself, is simply wonderful and endless, there is always something more to do since the game has a lot of content.
As always, Mhw's animations are simply wonderful, as you can see, there is a random warrior from the settlement fighting side by side with "Velkhana". I wish the game allowed you to use all those moves to be able to fight. I understand that the only weapon that allows you to "Block" attacks is the long sword, maybe one day I'll try it to see how it works.
As expected, our beloved warrior could never do all the work, it's just an epic cinematic for the player to enjoy. Although the "enjoy it" part was affected since the audio was not in tune with the video, who knows what happened, still a very good way to introduce us to a battle.
It couldn't be any other way, nobody could do anything against the monster and we already had experience of having had a previous encounter with it. So all the characters decided to leave the dirty work to us while they provided their support. I find it very funny as always that is the pretext to launch the player to fight alone in the midst of so many "experienced hunters" Hahaha.
Velkhana's attacks have a wide range and are made of ice, a rather annoying element in the game, since if you are affected by it, you begin to use much more energy to perform your movements. Not to mention that almost every time you get hit by one of his attacks, well that will be the result Hahaha.
The ballata field is full of different mechanisms that can be used to make the battle easier and, at the same time, to make it much more fun, I don't even want to imagine how good it must be to have a group of 4 friends and set out on this kind of missions, just epic. I can already see how some are on the front lines fighting with close range weapons while others are with ranged attacks throwing everything they can and using cannons, crossbows and hitting the monster without fear of success. Surely that is, the idea of the game after all.
It amazes me to this day, how good the graphics are in this game, for how old it is. It is simply a beauty to see, taking into account that in the gif, everything looks much uglier than it really is. Although of course, I had to download a super HD texture patch that weighed approximately 50 or 60 GB extra. I almost had a heart attack when I touched the graphics settings and it popped that patch Lol.
If you've never tried Monster Hunter World, I highly recommend it, it's a true cult gem.
