¡Hola a todos nuevamente!

Luego de haber terminado la historia principal de Monster Hunter World, decidimos con @josecarrerag que era momento de empezar una nueva aventura. Nunca nos hubiéramos imaginado que finalmente se cumpliría nuestro sueño y empezaríamos esta odisea en una escuadra de 4 jugadores, junto a @cryptoalvirin y Leo, que es un amigo del grupo. Sencillamente épico.

Luego de haber realizado algunas misiones, nos encontramos con una "Misión urgente" la cual implicaba parar un "Frenesí de monstruos". Al parecer es un modo de juego muy similar a los clásicos Tower defense. Donde básicamente llenamos un escenario de ballestas y cañones para defendernos contra las oleadas de criaturas que van saliendo.

En condiciones normales, o mejor dicho cuando eramos solo 2 jugadores, estos modos eran realmente aburridos, ya que no había posibilidades de utilizar ningún mecanismo. Claro, siendo tan pocos es muy difícil que haya lugar entre el calor de la batalla para subirse a una torreta y golpear libremente.

No puedo explicarles la alegría que sentí de finalmente ver un equipo completo y todos coordinados para rechazar el asedio. De hecho lo disfruté tanto que me pasé toda la partida subido a diferentes torretas probando cada una, fue como darle un dulce a un niño pequeño. Simplemente hermoso.

Ahora sí, hablando un poco más del frenesí en sí, podrán apreciar que todos los monstruos tienen diferentes íconos arriba de sus cuerpos. Los rojos significan que tienen su foco puestos en dañar a los jugadores y torretas, el azul indica que son monstruos especializados en destruir las puertas que tenemos que defender. Por lo que en orden de prioridad, hay que tratar de derrotar a estos primero, mientras evitas ser sobrepasado por los rojos.

Conforme vamos avanzando, aumenta la dificultad antes de llegar al jefazo final. Se agregan nuevos enemigos como el Pukei Pukei con ícono verde. Que quiere decir, que es una unidad que se especializa en el ataque a distancia contra los jugadores.

Debo agregar, que no hay nada más molesto que los enemigos de ataque a distancia, son muy molestos y tienen un rango asqueroso. Por suerte para esa instancia, luego de haber derrotado a varias criaturas y desbloqueado diferentes objetos defensivos, ya estaba lista esa torreta ligera que pueden ver en el gif, la cual es la mejor para acabar con estas criaturas.

Definitivamente me la pasé muy bien jugando frenesí entre amigos, si nunca has jugado Monster Hunter Rise, hasta el 20 de Junio, se encuentra en un 50% de rebaja en Steam, por el aniversario de 40 años de Capcom.

After having finished the main story of Monster Hunter World, we decided with @josecarrerag that it was time to start a new adventure. We never would have imagined that our dream would finally come true and we would start this odyssey in a squad of 4 players, together with @cryptoalvirin and Leo, who is a friend of the group. simply epic.

After having done some missions, we came across an "Urgent Mission" which involved stopping a "Monster Frenzy". Apparently it is a game mode very similar to the classic tower defense. Where we basically fill a stage with crossbows and cannons to defend ourselves against the waves of creatures that are coming out.

In normal conditions, or rather when we were only 2 players, these modes were really boring, since there were no possibilities to use any mechanism. Of course, being so few it is very difficult to have a place in the heat of battle to get on a turret and hit freely.

I cannot explain to you the joy I felt to finally see a complete team and all coordinated to repel the siege. In fact I enjoyed it so much that I spent the whole game on different turrets trying each one out, it was like giving a little kid candy. Simply beautiful.

Now yes, speaking a little more about the frenzy itself, you will be able to appreciate that all the monsters have different icons on top of their bodies. The red ones mean that they are focused on damaging the players and turrets, the blue ones indicate that they are monsters specialized in destroying the doors that we have to defend. So in order of priority, you have to try to defeat these first, while avoiding being overwhelmed by the reds.

As we progress, the difficulty increases before reaching the final boss. New enemies are added such as the Pukei Pukei with a green icon. Which means, that it is a unit that specializes in ranged attack against players.

I must add, there is nothing more annoying than ranged attack enemies, they are very annoying and have disgusting range. Luckily for that instance, after defeating several creatures and unlocking different defensive objects, that light turret that you can see in the gif was ready, which is the best to kill these creatures.

I definitely had a great time playing frenzy with friends, if you've never played Monster Hunter Rise, until June 20, it's 50% off on Steam, for Capcom's 40th anniversary.
