Between the mountains and the mist, between darkness and fire, the amazon rises, facing challenges, battles and struggles on her hard path.

There is a fire inside her and perhaps also outside that drives her onwards and onwards. That fire is an internal force that comes from her heart but also from that being that accompanies her, that is in her shadow, that fierce and driven being that accompanies her in her life.

Like the roar of a great lion on the mountain, whose echo resounds like the beating of her heart, knowing that they are for each other and that this unity will never be severed.

Design process

The design is made with 6 images and in 16 layers.

For the background I used two images, one of mountains and mist and the other of mountains only. The first one I duplicated and enhanced the colour with the soft light fusion. Then I arranged the second one in three layers with darken, focal light and soft light fusions.

Then I used the image of the fire which I arranged in two layers with different scale and with a lighten fusion.

I placed the image of the lion in two layers, previously erasing the background and with fusions focal light and strong light.

On it I worked the image of the clouds, erasing some of the sky, placing it in different positions and with fusions darken and focal light. Then I alternate those three layers in the animation.

Finally I worked the image of the amazon. First I put it over the lion trying to make both faces coincide and thus generating effects. I used darkening and focal light fusions. On another layer of the same image I erased certain parts and used the lighten fusion plus a light filter.

I placed the same image on one side of the design with a glow filter and blended it with the lion's mane,

The animation is completely done in After Effects, working the opacity of each layer and adding lights in the form of clouds for better contrast.

Entre las montañas y la niebla, entre la oscuridad y el fuego se alza la amazona enfrentando retos, batallas y luchas en su duro camino.

Hay un fuego en su interior y quizá también fuera que la impulsa a seguir siempre adelante. Ese fuego es una fuerza interna que deviene de su corazón, pero también de ese ser que la acompaña, que está a su sombra, ese ser feroz y con impulso la acompaña en su vida.

Como el rugido de un gran león en la montaña, cuyo su eco resuena como los latidos de su corazón, sabiendo que son el uno para el otro y que esa unidad nunca será cortada.

Proceso del diseño

El diseño esta realizado con 6 imágenes y en 16 capas.

Para el fondo usé dos imágenes, una de montañas y niebla y la otra sólo de montañas. A la primera la dupliqué y le realcé el color con la fusión luz suave. Luego la segunda la dispuse en tres capas con fusiones oscurecer, luz focal y luz suave.

Luego usé la imagen del fuego que dispuse en dos capas con distinta escala y con fusión de aclarar.

Coloqué la imagen del león en dos capas, borrando previamente el fondo y con fusiones luz focal y luz fuerte.

Sobre ella trabaje la imagen de las nubes, borrando algo del cielo, colocándola en distintas posiciones y con fusiones oscurecer y luz focal. Luego esas tres capas las alterno en la animación.

Finalmente trabaje la imagen de la amazona. Primero la puse sobre el león tratando de que ambas caras coincidan y generando así efectos. Use fusiones de oscurecer y luz focal. En otra capa de la misma imagen borré ciertas partes y usé la fusión aclarar más un filtro de luz.

La misma imagen la coloque a un lado del diseño con un filtro de brillo y mezclándola con la melena del león.

La animación esta realizada completamente en After Effects, trabajando la opacidad de cada capa y agregando luces en forma de nubes para un mejor contraste.
