Greetings to all the @alienarthive community, today I come to participate in the fourth part of the Cosmic Creations contest: Represent your worst fear.

This time the challenge is to make a design representing my worst fear, the one that terrifies me the most.

We all have many fears, some more intense than others. In my case, I am not afraid of death as many people are. It is a very generalised fear.

However, as I am sensitive to seeing spirits of the deceased and some others, I am afraid of being presented with or seeing dark beings, evil entities, often present in dreams or even when I am awake.

These beings can torment humans, haunt them and not leave them alone. It has happened to me especially in dreams. And that situation really scares me because they are terrifying situations.

In the design, I depict an old house where, for different reasons, these entities from the underworld live and appear among clouds of horror.

Design process

The design is made with four images, in 16 layers and a royalty-free background music to accompany them.

Of the four images chosen, two are of old buildings or houses, one of an exterior and one of an interior with stairs and the other two of dark or demonic entities.

First I used the image of the exterior in four layers, with different fusions to give sensations of light and darkness interspersed in the animation.

I created with Photoshop brushes white clouds, assimilating fog or mist, I also made four layers of them with different scales, orientations and positions.

Then I placed the image of the interior with the stairs, being vertical, I made the most of it in two layers darkening it and then in the animation moving it from top to bottom focusing on the stairs.

I placed two more layers of clouds with exclusion blending mode, which would later animate the position.

I selected the two faces of dark beings, copied and pasted them into the design, making two layers of each of them.

I previously erased part of the background by focusing on the face.
I used the blending modes of lighten, focal light and exclusion.

The animation is made completely in After Effects, working the opacity and position in the layers and adding lights in the form of clouds for a better contrast.

Saludos a toda la comunidad de @alienarthive, hoy vengo a participar de la cuarta parte del concurso Cosmic Creations: Representa tu peor miedo.

En esta ocasión la consigna es realizar un diseño representado mi peor miedo, el que más me aterrorice.

Todos tenemos muchos miedos, algunos más intensos que otros. En mi caso no tengo miedo a la muerte como muchos. Es un miedo muy generalizado.

Sin embargo, como soy sensible a ver espíritus de fallecidos y algunos otros, me da temor que se me presente o ver seres oscuros, entidades malignas, muchas veces presentes en sueños o también estando despierta.

Estos seres pueden atormentar a los humanos, perseguirlos y no dejarlos en paz. Me ha pasado sobre todo en sueños. Y esa situación la verdad me da mucho miedo porque son situaciones terroríficas.

En el diseño plasmo una casa antigua donde habitan por distintos motivos, estas entidades del inframundo y que aparecen entre nubes de horror.

Proceso del diseño

El diseño está realizado con cuatro imágenes, en 16 capas y una música de fondo libre de derechos de autor para acompañar.

De las cuatro imágenes elegidas, dos son de construcciones o casas antiguas, una de ellas de un exterior y otra de un interior con escaleras y las otras dos de entidades oscuras o demoniacas.

Primero usé la imagen del exterior en cuatro capas, con distintas fusiones para luego en la animación dar sensaciones de luz y oscuridad intercaladas.

Cree con pinceles de Photoshop nubes blancas, asimilando niebla o bruma, también realice cuatro capas de las mismas con diferentes escalas, orientaciones y posiciones.

Luego coloqué la imagen del interior con las escaleras, al ser vertical, la aproveché al máximo en dos capas oscureciéndola y luego en la animación desplazándola de arriba hacia abajo enfocando las escaleras.

Coloqué dos capas más de nubes en con modo de fusión exclusión, que animaría luego la posición.

Seleccione los dos rostros de seres oscuros, los copie y pegué en el diseño realizando, de ambos, dos capas cada uno.

Les borre previamente parte del fondo enfocando el rostro.
Utilice los modos de fusión de aclarar, luz focal y exclusión.

La animación esta realizada completamente en After Effects, trabajando la opacidad y la posición en las capas y agregando luces en forma de nubes para un mejor contraste.
