Esta semana de OpenMic me ha costado bastante porque el tema es algo complicado. ¿Qué se yo de ADN? Pero pensandolo mas profudamente no puedo de dejar de pensar en mi padre que mañana 2 de abril cumple dos años de fallecido. Es que me ha parecido muy triste pero era el tema que me llamaba y lo he cantado mucho y he llorado otro poco.
Mi padre y yo eramos tan distintos y tan parecidos a la vez: serios, un poco odiosos en ocasiones, siempre deseosos de conocer mas, muy curiosos; pero aun pareciendonos mucho no congeniabamos mucho hasta sus ultimos años que llegamos a conocernos un poco mas.
Mi viejo murió recien pisando los 50 y era muy callado en casa hasta que muy poco antes de morir Dios lo iluminó y quiso acercarse un poquito más a sus hijos y romper esa barrera.

This week of OpenMic has cost me a lot because the subject is somewhat complicated. What do I know about DNA? But thinking about it more deeply I can't stop thinking about my father who will be two years old tomorrow, April 2. It's just that it seemed very sad to me but it was the song that called me and I've sung it a lot and I've cried a little more.
My father and I were so different and so similar at the same time: serious, a little hateful at times, always eager to learn more, very curious; but even though we were very similar, we didn't get along very well until his last years, when we got to know each other a little better.
My old man died when he was just turning 50 and he was very quiet at home until very shortly before he died when God enlightened him and he wanted to get a little closer to his children and break that barrier.
