Amigos de #gems es un placer para mí escribir para ustedes unas líneas que me llenan de mucha alegría. Hoy fué un día maravilloso en toda mi carrera como cantante, me tocó cantar en el albergue de Oncología en la Ciudad de Cumaná, Estado Sucre 🇻🇪

Friends of #gems, it is a pleasure for me to write some lines for you that fill me with great joy. Today was a wonderful day in my entire career as a singer, I had to sing at the Oncology hostel in the City of Cumaná, Sucre State 🇻🇪

Allí se reúnen todos los pacientes con cáncer para practicar sus radioterapia y quimios. La doctora encargada del albergue, Hilda, tomo como iniciativa invitar a cantantes de la Ciudad para regalar a sus pacientes y viernes alegre, cargado de música y sobretodo de alegría para que sus pacientes puedan llevar tan dura enfermedad con un poco si quiera de felicidad.

All cancer patients meet there to practice their radiotherapy and chemotherapy.The doctor in charge of the shelter, Hilda, took the initiative to invite singers from the City to give her patients a happy Friday, full of music and above all joy so that her patients can carry such a hard illness with even a little bit of happiness.

Los seres humanos no estamos preparados para enfrentar una enfermedad de tal magnitud como lo es el cáncer, en esa etapa de la vida de quién le toque piensa muchas cosas, deja a un lado los problemas, la soberbia, la altanería, sólo quiere pedir a Dios salir pronto de ese mal momento para seguir con una vida pero diferente, sin afán por las cosas terrenales.

Human beings are not prepared to face a disease of such magnitude as cancer, at that stage of life, whoever touches it thinks many things, puts aside problems, arrogance, haughtiness, he only wants to ask God get out of that bad time soon to continue with a life but different, without eagerness for earthly things.

Cuando recibí la llamada de uno de los trabajadores de ese lugar, el amigo Victor Martinez, no dudé en ningún momento para asistir. Pienso que Dios me ha dado un talento para usarlo así sea sin fines de lucro. La música más allá del dinero que pueda generar principalmente es alegría y medicina para el alma. Cuando cantamos o bailamos el mundo es más bonito, al menos es lo que siento yo.

When I received a call from one of the workers at that place, my friend Victor Martinez, I did not hesitate at any time to attend. I think God has given me a talent to use even if it's not for profit. Music beyond the money it can generate is mainly joy and medicine for the soul. When we sing or dance the world is more beautiful, at least that's what I feel.

Llame a mi gran amigo Richard Reyes, cantante, músico y compositor. Richard fue cantante de la Rondalla Venezolana y también actual cantante del grupo famoso tierra de gracia. Hace pocos años tuvo un accidente de tránsito yendo hacia la vía de Caracas y el mismo le provocó fuertes lesiones en su visión al punto de dejarlo completamente ciego, pero ésta discapacidad no ha Sido impedimento para que siga cantando y produciendo música para toda su gente. Reyes le dice a todos que sea cuál sea nuestra situación si estamos aquí en la tierra es porque aún tenemos un propósito que cumplir.

Call my great friend Richard Reyes, singer, musician and composer. Richard was the singer of the Venezuelan Rondalla and also the current singer of the famous group Tierra de Gracia.A few years ago he had a traffic accident going to the Caracas road and it caused severe injuries to his vision to the point of leaving him completely blind, but this disability has not been an impediment for him to continue singing and producing music for all his people. Reyes tells everyone that whatever our situation is, if we are here on earth it is because we still have a purpose to fulfill.

Compartí un mensaje de esperanza a todas las personas que enfrentan ésta dura batalla como lo es el cáncer, canté varias canciones, baladas dónde muchos lloraron y merengue dónde también bailaron y mostraron que tienen un espíritu de valentía y sobretodo ganas de seguir adelante.

I shared a message of hope to all the people who face this hard battle such as cancer, I sang several songs, ballads where many cried and merengue where they also danced and showed that they have a spirit of courage and above all desire to move forward.

Agradezco a Dios por darme salud y por usarme comí instrumento para ayudar a otras personas,si hay alguien que esté pasando por éste trago amargo de una enfermedad quiero decirles que Dios está de su lado y que todavía tenemos grandes cosas por hacer. Ánimo! La vida es una sola. Los abrazo ❤️

I thank God for giving me health and for using me as an instrument to help other people, if there is someone who is going through this bitter pill of a disease, I want to tell them that God is on their side and that we still have great things to do. Cheer up! Life is one. I hug you❤️
