Bienvenidos amantes de la comida a este nuevo video de las recetas de Buhito donde hoy vamos a preparar dos comidas en uno, así es, con la preparación de un mismo relleno hice dos platos diferentes: pastel de papa y empanadas y de esta forma tendremos listo el almuerzo y la cena en una sola preparación ahorrándonos tiempo. Estas cantidades son en base a dos personas, pero funciona para más siempre y cuando incrementen las cantidades de los ingredientes.

Welcome food lovers to this new video of Buhito's recipes where today we are going to prepare two meals in one, that's right, with the preparation of the same filling I made two different dishes: potato pie and empanadas and in this way we will have lunch and dinner ready in one preparation saving us time. Ingredientes para el relleno (Ingredients for the stuffing):

La preparación la hice toda junta pero luego separe medio kilo para las empanadas y otro medio kilo para el pastel de papas.

I prepared it all together but then separated half a kilo for the empanadas and another half kilo for the potato pie.

Tuve la ayuda de Buhito pero como siempre él no cocinó, solo dio el veredicto final y quedo más que satisfecho aunque él prefiere con más sal. ¡Cuido su salud, ese búho no come, devora!

During the recording, when I was cutting the bell bell pepper, it was recording, but then when I wanted to save the video, the screen of the cell phone crashed and the video was not saved. Thank goodness that didn't happen during the recording of the filling! Then, magically when I was about to upload the files to the PC to edit them, it appeared and it was a relief because even though I have already recorded myself cutting the aji morrón, I like to show the step by step of the procedure or better said, the second by second.

On the other hand, the weather didn't help me much, it was cool during the whole week but just when I had to cook it got too humid and it was hot in the middle of winter, so I had to struggle a little bit assembling the empanadas. You can imagine how soft the dough got and I was afraid it would break, it literally looked like chewing gum. Some of them did break but less than I expected, even so I was surprised because they turned out better than when I make them on a cool, dry day.

Ahora viene la sorpresa:

La idea era hacer dos platillos, pero resulta que, como somos solo dos personas y no somos de comer demasiado además de que las tapas de empanadas eran chiquitas, me sobro un poco de relleno de las mismas. El pastel de papa ya estaba armado así que no se lo podía agregar a él, por lo tanto se me ocurrió que era la cantidad suficiente para hacer un omelette y ¡UALÁ! Surgió un tercer platillo con el mismo relleno de forma espontánea. No hay video del mismo porque lo prepare después de terminar la filmación ya que en su momento no sabía qué hacer con esa sobra, luego me surgió esa idea y en un ratito prepare 3 (TRES) comidas diferentes, una imprevista y obviamente se la di a Buhito.

¡Ese día comió como si no hubiese un mañana!

Now comes the surprise:

The potato pie was already made so I couldn't add it to it, so I thought it was enough to make an omelette and WHALA! a third dish with the same filling came up spontaneously. There is no video of it because I prepared it after finishing the filming because at the time I didn't know what to do with the leftovers, then the idea came to me and in a short time I prepared 3 (THREE) different meals, one of them unexpected and obviously I gave it to Buhito.

That day he ate like there was no tomorrow!

Eso es todo, me gusto que me hayan salido 3 comidas a pesar que yo solo quería hacer 2 ya que por falta de tiempo se me dificulta cocinar más variedad.
