COSPLAY ON HALLOWEEN

Hello, my beautiful people from @weekendexperiences at Hive. I hope you are all enjoying Halloween.

Even though I'm not one to celebrate Halloween, lately I've been mostly infected by the beautiful and elaborate costumes that many people, both Halloween and Cosplay fans, go to great lengths to show off during these festivities.

As I have commented in other publications, I got into the world of anime because of the movies of "Studios Gibli" and from there I began to feel admiration for those young and not so young people who enjoy dressing up as their favorite character. I don't think I will ever dress up as my favorite anime character, but since nothing is static in life, maybe someday, with a little money, I will dare to wear one of these wonderful outfits.

On Sunday, October 29, my husband, @n4nd0, and I went, in the morning, to do some basic household shopping and when we left the supermarket, we entered a fair that was in front of this supermarket.

While at the fair, we were browsing some of the artisan stores selling beautiful products made with their ingenious hands and as it was getting a little hot we bought a typical Chilean drink called "Mote con Huesillo" which looks like the peach Nestea, but the "Mote con Huesillo" has wheat and dehydrated peaches. The thing is, we sat on a bench in the shade of one of the trees and noticed that on another bench there were a couple of girls dressed up in cosplay-themed costumes. After thinking about it for a while, I decided to approach them to ask them to give me a picture and ask them if there was a costume contest and they said yes. They also told me that I could approach the stage to ask for more information and so we did. The people who were organizing this event told us that the contest was starting at 4pm.

So, we went back home and when it became 4 pm we went back to the fair to watch the Cosplay costume contest. The first participants were children, then the mascots and finally, the ones I was waiting for, the youth and adult costumes.

The costume I liked the most of the children was the "Wednesday", the costume of the mascots I liked was the "Wonder Woman" and the youth and adults I liked several of which I leave some pictures below. Sorry if I don't mention everyone's name, but I didn't know most of the characters.

On the other hand, I want to mention that at the fair the guys from Nany Store prepared us some "Bubble Tea" that were delicious. I think it was the best I have ever tasted.

Hivers friends, I invite you to watch a short video I made with a lot of love for all of you where you can see some of the characters that paraded on stage and made their presentation.
