Luego de una semana en la que se me hizo imposible participar de este bello encuentro musical, vuelvo para compartir con ustedes un poco de la música que me gusta.

El tema de esta semana es People, que en español es persona, gente. Entonces pensando en que cantar me vino a la mente esta letra de SHAKIRA donde describe una cantidad de personas que podrían ser ladrones, pero más allá de esto lo que me llama la atención es lo que yo creo que comunica la canción y es que nunca terminamos de saber cómo es realmente la gente y que hay detrás de los cargos y nexos que tenemos con ellos. Si hay algo que las personas muchas veces pueden hacer muy bien es llevar máscaras, la gente es tan variada como granos de arena en un playa, nunca podremos determinar completamente como son. Creo que lleva muchos años conocer a una persona, por eso trato de luchar con mis espectativas, que si las tengo, pero trato de mantenerme consciente de ellas para no juzgar a priori o no caer en la decepción con las personas que me rodean.

Cada persona es un mundo, cada ser se manifiesta de manera distinta en la vida, y muchas veces juzgamos por las apariencias sin darnos cuenta que cualquier persona podría ser "eso" que etiquetamos en alguien más.

Ser persona es complejo, y podemos encontrarnos con millones de formas de ser y descubrir que cada persona es universo y allí pueden ser desde ladrones, como dice Shakira, hasta santos. Nunca sabremos realmente lo que está en el corazón de alguien.

After a week in which it was impossible for me to participate in this beautiful musical encounter, I return to share with you some of the music I like.

The theme of this week is People, which in Spanish is person, people. So thinking about what to sing came to my mind this lyrics by SHAKIRA where she describes a number of people who could be thieves, but beyond this what caught my attention is what I think the song communicates and is that we never finish knowing how people really are and what is behind the charges and links we have with them. If there is something that people can often do very well is wear masks, people are as varied as grains of sand on a beach, we will never be able to completely determine how they are. I think it takes many years to get to know a person, that's why I try to fight with my expectations, if I have them, but I try to stay aware of them so as not to judge a priori or not to be disappointed with the people around me.

Each person is a world, each being manifests itself differently in life, and many times we judge by appearances without realizing that any person could be "that" we label in someone else.

Being a person is complex, and we can find ourselves with millions of ways of being and discovering that each person is a universe and there they can be from thieves, as Shakira says, to saints. We will never really know what is in someone's heart.
