Hoy quiero presentarles una herramienta que he dessarrollado y que se inserta en el proyecto de @la-colmena, como testigo de Hive, en el área de desarrollo.

Aunque es una herramienta muy sencilla, responde a un llamado que he venido haciendo insistentemente, desde hace mucho tiempo, como lo es hacer stake, que es sinónimo de hacer Power Up.

Muchas veces he hecho el llamado y he explicado los beneficios que ello significa, que en breve podemos resumir como: poder de decisión para elegir a los testigos de la cadena, poder de decisión para aprobar los proyectos que se presentan a DHF, así como tener un voto de más valor y por ende, ganar más recompensas de curación.

Pero esta herramienta está pensada para que podamos llevar un mejor control sobre los Power Ups que hacemos mes a mes.

Today I want to present a tool that I have developed and that is inserted in the project of @la-colmena, as a Hive witness, in the development area.

Although it is a very simple tool, it responds to a call that I have been making insistently, for a long time, as it is to make stake, which is synonymous of making Power Up.

Many times I have made the call and explained the benefits that this means, which in brief we can summarize as: power of decision to choose the witnesses of the chain, power of decision to approve the projects that are presented to DHF, as well as having a vote of more value and therefore, earning more curation rewards.

But this tool is designed so that we can keep better control over the Power Ups we do month by month.

Cada primer día de mes, se lleva a cabo en #HPUD (Hive Power Up Day), promovido por @traciyork, @victoriabsb, @arcange y #hivebuzz. Para ese evento, yo siempre preparo un registro de los Power Ups que hice durante el mes previo.

Hace un par de semanas, @anna-newkey hizo una publicación en la que usó el mismo tipo de tablas que yo uso, para llevar control de su actividad.

Fue a raíz de eso que decidí, darle forma a este proyecto y poner a disposición de todos esta herramienta, que lo que hace es preparar en formato de Markdown, una tabla con todos los Power Ups que hicimos el mes anterior. Al salir en ese formato, solo hay que copiar y pegar en nuestro post, para mostrar allí nuestra tabla.

Con toda seguridad en un futuro voy a incluir algunas mejoras que hagan más interesante esta aplicación, pero quise ponerla a disposición, porque así como me sirve a mí cada mes, puede ser de utilidad para muchos de ustedes.

Every first day of the month, it takes place on #HPUD (Hive Power Up Day), promoted by @traciyork, @victoriabsb, @arcange and #hivebuzz. For that event, I always prepare a log of the Power Ups I did during the previous month.

A couple of weeks ago, @anna-newkey made a post in which she used the same type of charts that I use, to keep track of her activity.

It was because of that that I decided to give shape to this project and make available to everyone this tool, which does is to prepare in Markdown format, a table with all the Power Ups we did the previous month. When it comes out in this format, we only have to copy and paste it in our post, to show our table there.

Surely in the future I will include some improvements to make this application more interesting, but I wanted to make it available, because as it serves me every month, it can be useful for many of you.

La primera vez que ingreses, te aparecerá un prompt pidiendo que ingreses tu nombre de usuario y una vez lo ingreses empezará a recorrer los bloques correspondientes al mes anterior, para buscar esas operaciones. Eso hace que el proceso sea un poco lento. Sin duda alguna, trabajar con Hivesql o alguna base de datos, lo haría más rápido. Pero esta es la única posibilidad actualmente.

Una vez el sistema tenga toda la información, te presentará la tabla y un botón con la opción automática de seleccionarla y copiarla.

Tu nombre de usuario quedará almacenado en tu navegador, por lo que la próxima vez que ingreses ya no necesitarás introducirlo. Sin embargo, puedes cambiar de usuario cada vez que quieras, solo que el último será el que se almacene en tu navegador.

¡Espero que esta herramienta contribuya a animar a más usuarios a sumarse al #HPUD, a hacer power ups y a hacer sus reportes con esta herramienta!

The first time you log in, you will get a prompt asking you to enter your user name and once you enter it, it will start going through the blocks corresponding to the previous month, to look for those operations. That makes the process a bit slow. No doubt working with Hivesql or some database would make it faster. But this is the only possibility at the moment.

Once the system has all the information, it will present you with the table and a button with the automatic option to select and copy it.

Your username will be stored in your browser, so the next time you log in you will no longer need to enter it. However, you can change your username whenever you want, only the last one will be the one stored in your browser.

I hope this tool will help encourage more users to join #HPUD, make power ups and do their reporting with this tool!
