Welcome to my music blog, I am happy to participate in the Hive Open Mic Week 173, where we address the theme "Memories". Thanks to our friend and recent community featured artist: @rukkie. Today I'm sharing my trumpet interpretation of "Quando Quando Quando", an Italian pop song written by Tony Renis and Alberto Testa. The lyrics of the song talk about a man who is in love with a woman and longs to be with her. The man is eager to be with the woman and asks her when it will be her time. This piece of music is in the key of C major and is in 4/4 time. Harmony helps create a sense of movement and progression, which helps keep the song interesting. I have had the opportunity to listen to covers by Elvis Presley, Engelbert Humperdinck, Cliff Richard, and Michael Bublé. It is a very beautiful song and it can be said that it connects me with the most beautiful memories of my life.

Hoy les comparto mi interpretación con la trompeta de "Quando Quando Quando", una canción pop italiana escrita por Tony Renis y Alberto Testa. La letra de la canción habla de un hombre que está enamorado de una mujer y que añora estar con ella. El hombre está ansioso por estar con la mujer y le pregunta cuándo será su momento. Esta pieza musical se encuentra en la tonalidad de C mayor y se encuentra en 4/4. La armonía ayuda a crear un sentido de movimiento y progresión, lo que ayuda a mantener la canción interesante. Music is a powerful tool that can connect us with our memories. On many occasions, specific memories come to mind, such as a person, a place, or an event. This is because music is closely linked to our limbic system, which is the part of our brain responsible for emotions and memory. This creates a favorable atmosphere for memories of those moments to come. Its healing power can help us process difficult emotions and memories. There are many songs that connect me with different stages of my life because music has been present in my home, at school, at university, and in my social environment. There are several songs that as soon as I hear them I explode with emotion and laughter. I remember a song called "Negra, move your waist." As soon as I saw my mom when she got home from school she would sing it to her. So I danced, and I laughed a lot. That is the power of music to move our memories.

La música es una poderosa herramienta que puede conectarnos con nuestros recuerdos. En muchas ocasiones vienen a mi mente recuerdos específicos, como una persona, un lugar o un evento. Esto se debe a que la música está estrechamente vinculada a nuestro sistema límbico, que es la parte de nuestro cerebro responsable de las emociones y la memoria. Esta crea una atmosfera favorable para que vengan recuerdos de esos momentos. Su poder sanador puede ayudarnos a procesar emociones y recuerdos difíciles. Entonces, yo bailaba, y me reia muchisimo. Ese es el poder de la música para mover nuestros recuerdos.
