LeoVerse Updates and What We've Been Working On

This clip starts with us talking about our progress on the Alpha UI. We actually recorded it just days before the Alpha UI went into Open Alpha.

The main updates we were working on right before it went live are some things that we've still been working on and pushing out as updates.

You may see a bunch of new updates live on the Alpha now. Things like Nested Replies, Show More Replies, etc. just went live.

This is all part of our weekly rounds of new features that we're pushing for all of you to test.

This is a temporary issue. What I just gave you is a workaround until we get the fix deployed (hopefully by tomorrow).

In This Clip:

• Working on the Posting Frameworks of the new UI
• In line with the thesis of the UI, Threads is the main focus. Now that Threads is done, now we are working on the long form side of the UI
• The aim is to change the experience of long form content: We created a great synergy between short and long form content
• The main target of the UI is ease of use and intuitive where anyone can understand it just by looking at it.
• Being on Threads is a mix of short form and long form promotion - This intersection barely happens in web2.
• In the teaser picture you can see it's smooth, clean and it's easy to find more content from the author.
• Lightning is coded from scratch in this UI, whereas in the old UI it was coded on top of it, so now the lightning network feels built into the base layer, because that's exactly how it is.
• The lightning network allows the new UI to stay up almost at all times.
• In terms of usability and speed, the new UI fixes every issue the old LF UI had
