A cordial greeting to all. We were once again inspired at Hive Open Mic Week #198, where we explored the theme: "Rebellion" chosen by a friend and recent featured artist in our community: @rasecdus. Today I share with you my trumpet performance of “Fix You,” an iconic song by the band Coldplay that reminds us that we are not alone and that there are people who care about us and want to help us heal. This piece of music combines elements of pop, rock, and classical music that generates an emotionally impactful experience. The song is not only musically rich and complex but also conveys a universal message of hope and healing. The song is in the key of E flat major and has an emotional and memorable melody. The tempo is slow and steady and the rhythm is simple. The role that silence plays is masterful. I love how they create space for contemplation and emotion, it is before the last chorus where the silence adds tension and drama, intensifying the impact of the lyrics.

Un saludo cordial para todos. Una vez más nos sentimos inspirados en Hive Open Mic Semana #198, donde exploramos la temática: "Rebelión" elegida por el amigo y artista destacado reciente de nuestra comunidad: @rasecdus. Hoy les comparto mi interpretación con la trompeta de «Fix You», una canción icónica de la banda Coldplay que nos recuerda que no estamos solos y que hay personas que se preocupan por nosotros y quieren ayudarnos a sanar. Esta pieza musical combina elementos de pop, rock y música clásica que genera una experiencia emocionalmente impactante. La canción no solo es musicalmente rica y compleja, sino que también transmite un mensaje universal de esperanza y sanación. La canción está en la tonalidad de E bemol mayor y tiene una melodía emotiva y memorable. El tempo es lento y constante y el ritmo es sencillo. El papel que juegan los silencios es magistral. Me encanta cómo crean espacio para la contemplación y la emoción, es antes del último coro donde el silencio añade tensión y drama, intensificando el impacto de la letra.

If there is something in which I declare myself in rebellion, it is against oppression and injustice. Without hope, it is very difficult to get up to fight for these causes. The song's message of hope and resilience provides strength to continue fighting, even when things get tough. I love the phrase "I'll try to fix you" and sometimes we feel oppressed by routine, by our fears, and by the difficulties of life. It's also wonderful to hear "Lights will guide you home" which gives us hope to find our place in the world. To be in rebellion you need inspiration, you need to question yourself, change what makes you unhappy, challenge the norms imposed by society, and defend your values even if you find yourself alone in the task.

Si hay algo en lo cual me declaro en rebelión es contra la opresión y la injusticia. Sin esperanza es muy difícil levantarse para luchar por estas causas. El mensaje de esperanza y resiliencia de la canción brinda fuerzas para continuar luchando, incluso cuando las cosas se ponen difíciles. Me encanta la frase "I'll try to fix you" ("Intentaré arreglarte") y es que a veces nos sentimos oprimidos por la rutina, por nuestros temores y por las dificultades de la vida. También es maravilloso escuchar "Lights will guide you home" ("Las luces te guiarán a casa") que nos da la esperanza de encontrar nuestro lugar en el mundo. Para estar en rebelión se necesita inspiración, se necesita cuestionarse, cambiar lo que nos hace infelices, desafiar las normas impuestas por la sociedad y defender nuestros valores aunque nos encontremos solos en la tarea.
