A warm greeting to everyone who participates in the #Vibes community. If there's one thing I've enjoyed about this weekly contest, it's listening to others. A key aspect in leadership, in music, and teaching, is knowing how to listen. It is something that requires practice, patience, and above all empathy. Today I want to share with you my interpretation of the trumpet of "In My Life", a Baroque Pop song by one of the most iconic bands in the world that have revolutionized music, the Beatles. The song is in the key of A Major and uses a relatively simple chord progression, based primarily on the tonic (I), the subdominant (IV), and the dominant (V). This has a moderate tempo and a 4/4 rhythm, which creates a feeling of balance and fluidity. The lyrics are a tribute to memory and love and capture the essence of looking back without losing sight of the importance of what you have in the present. The production is clean and minimalist, allowing the instrumentation and vocals to shine.

The recording process can be said to have been simple. First, the introduction without audio and using a mute, and then the main piece with the harmony without mute. To keep the intro and other parts at a low volume, I applied a filter to reduce the intensity so as not to overpower the main track in volume. The original version has a fairly complex baroque-style instrumental part, so I decided to add a more personalized and modern improvisation. Below I will leave you the link to the original video where you can see the harpsichord solo. Finally, I want to thank all the people who have supported me with their comments. God bless you!
