A long night is a topic that brings great reflection. Who has not been caught up in a long, endless night full of difficulties? At some moments in our lives, we can feel that the night is becoming short. And the good is often brief, and the bad is often long. Pain, illness, and a difficult moment can mean a long night. Some moments can be so pleasant, and unforgettable, but at the same time ephemeral. I love knowing that after a long night, comes a sunny day. That is a blessing in our countries. At the poles of the planet, nights can be longer and last several months. Imagine, 3 months without light. Now, there are short nights, but so brief, that in the end we feel and say: "Do not rest." There are so many perspectives, and so many approaches. But as the biblical Psalm says: "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning" (Psalm 30:5).

Una larga noche es una temática que guarda grandes reflexiones. ¿Quién no se ha visto envuelto en una larga e interminable noche llena de dificultades? En algunos momentos de nuestra vida, podemos sentir que la noche se vuelve corta. Y es que lo bueno suele ser breve, y lo malo suele ser largo. Un dolor, una enfermedad, y un momento difícil pueden significar una noche larga. Algunos momentos pueden ser tan placenteros, e inolvidables, pero a su vez efímeros. Me encanta saber que después de una larga noche, viene un día soleado. Eso es una bendición en nuestros países. En los polos del planeta, las noches pueden ser más largas y durar varios meses. Imagínense, 3 meses sin luz. Ahora, hay noches cortas, pero tan breves, que al final sentimos y expresamos: "No descanse". Existen tantas perspectivas, y tantos enfoques. Pero cómo dice el Salmo bíblico: “Por la noche durará el llanto, y a la mañana vendrá la alegría” (Salmo 30:5).
