Alexa Grasso y Valentina Shevchenko, nos regalaron una de las mejores peleas que se hayan visto en la historia de la UFC, especialmente en el renglón femenino. El combate ha sido de muchas emociones, hubo momentos para ambas guerreras, la batalla pudo terminar antes y acabo llegando al final con mucho suspenso e intriga por una posible finalización de Alexa Grasso. Valentina Shevchenko, una peleadora histórica de la división, no ha podido encontrar la fórmula para vencer a la mexicana, luchadora que sigue en constante evolución.

La decisión de los jueces ha sido polémica, muchos vieron ganando a Valentina Shevchenko, otros consideran que Alexa Grasso, hizo lo necesario para ganar, pero, al final, todo concluyo en un empate, lo cual genera que la mexicana siga teniendo el título en su cintura y se mantenga como la gran reinante del peso gallo. En primer momento, esperaba que ganara Valentina Shevchenko, luego de haber visto el combate de vuelta, pienso que el empate ha sido muy acertado.

Alexa Grasso and Valentina Shevchenko, gave us one of the best fights ever seen in the history of the UFC, especially in the women's division. The fight has been of many emotions, there were moments for both warriors, the battle could have ended earlier and ended up reaching the end with a lot of suspense and intrigue for a possible finish of Alexa Grasso. Valentina Shevchenko, a historical fighter of the division, has not been able to find the formula to beat the Mexican, a fighter who continues to evolve.

The decision of the judges has been controversial, many saw Valentina Shevchenko winning, others considered that Alexa Grasso, did what was necessary to win, but, in the end, everything ended in a draw, which generates that the Mexican continues to have the title in her waist and remains as the great reigning bantamweight. Luego de haber finalizado el combate, quedamos con la esperanza de ver una trilogía, porque aún no está nada decidido y ojalá se pueda concretar un tercer combate entre las mejores peleadoras que tiene la división y actualmente el ranking general de las mujeres. Por qué sí, estábamos presenciando una batalla entre la número 1 y la número 2 del ranking general. Muy pocas veces se ha visto esto en la UFC, por tal motivo el combate estuvo de gran exigencia y de mucha competitividad.

Alexa Grasso, parece que cada día aumenta su nivel, mientras que Valentina Shevchenko, está envejeciendo y realmente no creo que pueda quitarle el trono en una tercera pelea. Aunque, me gustaría verla de igual forma, porque sé que será otro gran peleón y es lo que tanto amamos los fanáticos del UFC. La cartelera ha sido todo un éxito, conmemorando el día de la independencia mexicana, la mayoría de luchadores de esta nación, ganaron y brillaron y en general todo el evento estuvo magnífico.

After the fight ended, we were left with the hope of seeing a trilogy, because nothing is decided yet and hopefully a third fight between the best fighters in the division and currently the general ranking of women. Why yes, we were witnessing a battle between the number 1 and number 2 of the general ranking. Very few times this has been seen in the UFC, for this reason the fight was very demanding and very competitive.

Alexa Grasso, seems to increase her level every day, while Valentina Shevchenko, is getting older and I really don't think she can take the throne in a third fight. Although, I'd like to see it anyway, because I know it will be another great fight and that's what we UFC fans love so much. The card has been a success, commemorating the Mexican Independence Day, most of the fighters from this nation won and shined and in general the whole event was magnificent.
