En esta semana #169 con la temàtica: War (Guerra) Les traigo el tema "Wind Of Chance" (Vientos de cambio) de la banda rock alemana "Scorpions". Dicha canciòn se lanzò en el año de 1990 y se convirtiò en un èxito internacional hasta el dìa de hoy. Les invito a que vean el video hasta el final pues hay un pequeño mensaje sorpresa para todos.

Greetings friends of @openmic and all Hive, this way @victoriakim21. In this week #169 with the theme: War I bring you the song "Wind Of Chance" by the German rock band "Scorpions". This song was released in 1990 and became an international hit until today. I invite you to watch the video until the end because there is a little surprise message for everyone.

Elegì este tema, debido a que la letra de esta canciòn se refiere a cómo Europa se abría a los nuevos cambios tras la caída del Muro de Berlín y la transformación de la Unión Soviética. Su letra tan conmovedora se convirtiò en una esperanza de cambio, sobretodo para los jovenes de aquel entonces. La banda de "Scorpions" dijo que su intención era mostrar una visión optimista sobre el cambio político. Por esta razòn, la canción alude a ese cambio y habla de las esperanzas de la juventud, que soñaba con un mundo sin guerras, en el que el odio quedaría atrás.

I chose this song because the lyrics of this song refer to how Europe was opening up to new changes after the fall of the Berlin Wall and the transformation of the Soviet Union. Its poignant lyrics became a hope for change, especially for the young people of that time. The band "Scorpions" said that their intention was to show an optimistic view on political change. For this reason, the song alludes to that change and speaks of the hopes of the youth, who dreamed of a world without war, in which hatred would be left behind.

La canciòn en todo esto deja un mensaje bien claro: "El odio y la guerra no son el camino correcto. Se apela a la reconciliaciòn , y a que todos trabajemos juntos para construir un mundo mejor, por esto el titulo: "Vientos de Cambio".

The song in all this leaves a clear message: "Hatred and war are not the right way. It appeals to reconciliation, and that we all work together to build a better world, hence the title: "Winds of Change".

En mi opiniòn, creo que la solución está en la educación, la tolerancia, la comprensión y la comunicación. La educación en valores de amor, y respeto que pueden ayudar a dejar atrás la violencia y el odio. Además, la capacidad de comprender a los demás y la empatía para fomentar la paz absoluta.

In my opinion, I believe that the solution lies in education, tolerance, understanding and communication. Education in values of love, and respect that can help to leave behind violence and hatred. In addition, the ability to understand others and empathy to promote absolute peace.

Como dato curioso, la palabra "Balalaika" usada en el tema de esta canciòn es un tipo de instrumento musical que es originario de Rusia y se parece al laúd. En la letra de "Wind of Change" la palabra se refiere a la cultura rusa y a la unidad de todos los pueblos. La balalaika es un símbolo de ese aspecto, así como de un nuevo comienzo y de la unidad.

As a curious fact, the word "Balalaika" used in the theme of this song is a type of musical instrument that originates from Russia and resembles the lute. In the lyrics of "Wind of Change" the word refers to Russian culture and the unity of all peoples. The balalaika is a symbol of that aspect, as well as of a new beginning and unity.

No a la Guerra, Sì a la Paz/No to War, Yes to Peace

Antes de cerrar este pequeño resumen sobre la temàtica de esta semana, quisiera contarles que mi experiencia para interpretar este tema fue algo fuerte ya que me lo sabìa muy poco, y bueno, hice mi mejor esfuerzo por presentarles lo mejor. Wind Of change, es una canciòn que estaba acostumbrada a escuchar en inglès, pero muy pocos fragmentos habìa escuchado en español. Por esta razòn, aqui les traje la versiòn al español traducida por la misma banda alemana. Quise vestirme de esta manera, como personificando a un soldado, un soldado que se para firme con su guitarra proclamando la paz en vez de la guerra.

Before closing this little summary on this week's theme, I would like to tell you that my experience to interpret this song was a bit strong because I knew it very little, and well, I did my best to present you the best. Wind Of change, is a song that I was used to hear in English, but very few fragments I had heard in Spanish. For this reason, here I brought you the Spanish version translated by the same German band. I wanted to dress this way, as a soldier personifying a soldier, a soldier who stands with his guitar proclaiming peace instead of war.
