Greetings everyone, and happy Sunday! I hope you're good and happy to witness a brand new week. Like we all know, Sunday is an avenue to showcase our creativity here in the hive learner community. I've come to showcase a side of me that I've limited in the past few years and which I hope to groom towards the best as time goes on. Today I'll be singing the cover of a gospel song by William McDowell titled Spirit Breakout.
This is a song I so much love and admire, not just for the rhythm or tune, but mainly for the lyrics and the message it carries. This is a song that literally shows how most of us humans have guided our hearts away from the truth, from others seeing us for who we are, and much more, to mention but a few. I understand most of us don't want to seem vulnerable, and that's why we've built such walls around our hearts.
And in my opinion, even if we are to be vulnerable, then it's best to be vulnerable to our maker, because he knows today and how tomorrow will be and can literally shape our ways to easily attain our dreams and aspirations. This song also, in a nutshell, talks about how we need to open our hearts to the brooding of the Holy Spirit so he can easily guide and direct our path to where we'll live a lifestyle that pleases and glorifies God.
This is a song I love and sing most times to remind myself of the need to not be full of myself and my strength but to trust my maker for guidance and support at all times, not just in my times of trial but even when I'm winning. I hope you enjoyed it and that the beautiful message of this song has made you listen.
Please don't mind my sweet melodious voice, but focus on the message, and I pray we'll all remain blessed as we dive into a new week. Have a wonderful day and a productive week ahead.
