Semana #61 de la Voz Cantante.

Para mí, la canción "El Universo Sobre Mí" es una joya del Rock en español. Buscando canciones del género para interpretar en este concurso, la encontré, estaba en una compilación de canciones que parten del año 2000, guardadas en un reproductor MP3, de esos que caben en el puño y son solo botones, y funcionó para regalarme un sensacional viaje al pasado.

Confieso que he cambiado. La forma en la que percibo la música no es la misma, antes, las letras eran más existencialistas, me refiero a lo que estaba en vitrina, los medios de comunicación, ahora, lo que está en la cúspide de Spotify es más instintivo, con una estructura más sencilla, arquetípica, también, el contenido es más explícito.

Afortunadamente, esta canción lleva la esencia de los autores de la vieja escuela, quiero decir, la corriente del inicio del milenio, la letra es poética y profunda, y habla de la búsqueda del sentido de la existencia y de la necesidad de encontrar nuestro lugar en el mundo. Me identifico con la idea de sentirse pequeño frente a la inmensidad del universo, pero al mismo tiempo, sentirse parte de él.

For me, the song "El Universo Sobre Mí" is a jewel of Spanish Rock. Looking for songs of the genre to perform in this contest, I found it, it was in a compilation of songs from the year 2000, stored in an MP3 player, one of those that fit in your fist and are just buttons, and it worked to give me a sensational trip to the past.

I confess that I have changed. The way I perceive music is not the same, before, the lyrics were more existentialist, I mean what was in showcase, the media, now, what is on the cusp of Spotify is more instinctive, with a simpler structure, archetypal, also, the content is more explicit.

Fortunately, this song carries the essence of the old school authors, I mean, the current of the beginning of the millennium, the lyrics are poetic and profound, and speak of the search for the meaning of existence and the need to find our place in the world. I identify with the idea of feeling small in front of the immensity of the universe, but at the same time, feeling part of it.
