Why is there death if there is God??

People die at different ages. But there's God who is immortal. This is according to 1Tim. 6:16. God dwells in the light where no one can approach. All power belongs to him forever.

Jesus expressed this in the famous our Lord's prayer in Mt. 6:9-13. As Apostle Paul stated, it is only God that cannot die. But men die. Heb. 9:27 says it is appointed unto man once to die, after which there is judgement. It is God that appointed that man dies once.

Death is inescapable to man. But death has an important lesson to give us.
