    Hivers and 3speakers!

So much has happened this past month. We performed in 7 different countries on some of the biggest stages to date. The energy we expended, the emotions we shared, the feedback we've received makes every difficult moment of the past month totally worth it. We saw hundreds of familiar faces, many of you who have been supportive of us from the street corner to the big stage. We forged new bonds and deep connections with new Troublemakers who will forever be a part of our story.
Castlefest - How can we describe what we felt this year. Our friend Henk Kok and Angela Kok said it best, the reason why every artist jumps at the opportunity to play on your stages is because of YOU, the audience. You are passionate, respectful and spiritual. That performance will be forever in our hearts (and online check the comments). You set the tone for this month.
Wickham Music Festival - The UK has become a massive center of gravity for us, and YOU are the reason. Richard and Leslie, making the connection with Peter and putting us on that stage has opened the doors for us. We are eternally grateful to you for your kindness and generosity and are proud to call you friends. Steve Knightley, Eliza Marshall and Johnny Kalsi FLCoM, spending time with you after the show was inspiring, we will go on to be great together.
Green Gathering - what a gorgeous spirit you have. From the moment we arrived, we could feel the passion. We could not think of a more perfect way to close out that weekend than to perform for you in a ram-packed tent, dancing our hearts out until the last moments of the festival. You beautiful souls, thank you!
The next morning we returned to Ireland for the first time in a decade! Bernard and our Crotty's Lake family, Ola and Tom, you are family for life. The session we with Benny Mccarthy from Danú. Our experience in Waterford would not be the same without you. Then there is Sharon Shannon, Annette and Gary from Monroe's Galway. Sharon, you are a true gift to this world. Talented to your core, yet as open and friendly as they come. You brought us into your world and we will be forever thankful for it. Gary - Galway would be hard pressed to find a better Patron of the arts than you! Your hospitality and kindness will always be remembered, we will see you at Galway Folk Festival! Harmania Indie Choir - THANK YOU for taking the time to perform "Liberty Awaits" with us. Watching this video back brings tears to our eyes. The artistic exchanges we had that evening when filming are ones we will cherish until the end.
Departing from Ireland was a sad moment (though we will be back in 2024), but going to Glastonbury to see Guy Clifford, John Mason, Kitty Stewart Music. That show at The King Arthur, Glastonbury was a packed out, box of emotion. A perfect ending to our year on the British Isles.
Middeleeuws Winschoten & Fantasy Festival - our time with you was special too. A return to the blazing sun after two weeks in cloudy Ireland, it was reenergizing at a time of exhaustion. We are very proud to be a member of such a vibrant musical community. Sunfire, Harmony Glen, Rapalje Celtic Folk Music, Nyntha, Comes Vagantes - we enjoyed every moment connecting with you backstage and having you join us during our performances! Sophie van Grinsven, YOU made each performance special. Each day we felt that we grew stronger together, more in synch. Thank you for sharing your passion and talents with us on the stage.
Festival du Houblon - What a NIGHT! First of all, dear Alsace, from the moment we set foot in Haguenau, we can feel your love. Tribubu, brothers, thank you for playing with us. You are blossoming into truly great artists, and we are proud to call you brothers. Our performances together on the stage were an absolute highlight of the month!
Then there is last night! Jean le Moine - what an unexpected surprise. A last minute Wednesday night concert in the Vosges turned into an all out dance party. Alex, Ben, Matthias, and the entire family, thank you for organizing this beautiful event and providing us with so much positive energy. We are overflowing with joy!
