Well, here we are again everyone, another week of open mic! How awesome!

Firstly, I will stary by saying... THEY'RE GONA COME! Blink-182 are back together and have released a new song, and have announced a world tour! They are coming everyone, New Zealand included. I know lots of you live in South America - they will be there too! Now we just have the issue of ticket prices haha, I haven't seen this yet....

Also - if you want to have a laugh and enjoy 'break dancing' then you might enjoy the second verse ;)

For this week of 'National Pride' I wanted to say that I feel this means personal pride or staying true to ourselves - or this is what it means to me anyway :) for that reason I went all out on this cover and recorded every part (3 guitar tracks and 3 vocal tracks) and then spent the rest of the week editing the video together. My laptop is running quite slow these days so the editing takes a long time! I think next year I will begin to re-evaluate all of my guitar videos and seeing what changes I can make.

So, national pride, or homeland pride - I guess, home is where the heart is, right? That is playing music for me and thinking back to the good times of listening to tunes and playing guitar all day, and reliving those moments everyday whilst creating new ones! Daily memories! :)

Before I close up this text and post.. do we have any Blinl-182 fans here? Any 2000s era pop-punk fans? You all know I am! Of course I love rock, blues and metal too, but something about that 90s and 2000s pop punk that was just such a vibe!
