Hello dear friends of Hive and @vdc. It is a privilege to be able to participate once again in the eighth installment of the Folk Music Festival.
La canción con la que participo se titula "La mala Intención", de Henrique Hidalgo. Se hizo popular en Venezuela en el año 1984 en el disco homónimo del máximo referente del canto tradicional del oriente del país: "Gualberto Ibarreto".
The song with which I participate is titled "La mala Intención", by Henrique Hidalgo. It became popular in Venezuela in 1984 in the homonymous album of the maximum reference of the traditional song of the east of the country: "Gualberto Ibarreto".
La música mala intención pertenece al género musical "Jota Carupanera", un rítmo muy jocoso del folclore venezolano. La letra de éste gran tema se compuso en cuartetas octasílabas.
Bad intention music belongs to the musical genre "Jota Carupanera", a very humorous rhythm from Venezuelan folklore. The lyrics of this great theme were composed in octasyllabic quatrains.
