Hello my amazing friends. Greetings to all musicians, lovers of good music and all you lovely people that make up the Hive Open Mic community. I hope this post meets you in good health and high spirits. This is Stefanovah and I'm here once again for our weekly open mic.... I'm sending warm wishes and the best of the season to you reading this and to those you love. @wallay has brought us a very appropriate theme for this week which is gratitude.

It's the end of the current year and the eve of another, and it's the perfect time for reflections. There have been many tough times for most of us this year, for some it's felt like the worst year of our lives so far but in all these if we look back we'll see we've got reasons to be grateful. Simply for being alive, and for the loved ones we still have around us, I think every single one of us have a reason to be grateful.... Personally I'm not ending the year having all I want but I am extremely grateful for every single thing, for people, for every little achievement, for my musical gifts, for love. So to add to all the beautiful entries we've already had this week I'm here with this medley.

These songs are simple choruses we sing in church over here that are an acknowledgement of God for all he's done and an expression of gratitude. There's a popular saying I've come to know and love which says "Appreciation is an application for more" and what better time to show our gratitude than now.... I decided to go the jazz path on this one even though I don't have any instrument and believe me I enjoyed myself. I hope you like this entry too.

Espero que este post te encuentre con buena salud y buen humor. Soy Stefanovah y estoy aquí una vez más para nuestro micrófono abierto semanal... Te envío cálidos deseos y lo mejor de la temporada a ti que lees esto y a tus seres queridos. @wallay nos ha traído un tema muy apropiado para esta semana que es la gratitud.

Es el final de este año y la víspera de otro, y es el momento perfecto para la reflexión. Ha habido muchos momentos difíciles para la mayoría de nosotros este año, para algunos ha sido el peor año de nuestras vidas hasta ahora, pero en todos estos, si miramos hacia atrás, veremos que tenemos razones para estar agradecidos. Simplemente por estar vivos, y por los seres queridos que todavía tenemos a nuestro alrededor, creo que cada uno de nosotros tenemos un motivo para estar agradecido.... Personalmente no termino el año teniendo todo lo que quiero pero estoy sumamente agradecido. por cada cosa, por las personas, por cada pequeño logro, por mis dotes musicales, por el amor. Entonces, para agregar a todas las hermosas entradas que ya hemos tenido esta semana, estoy aquí con este popurrí.

Estas canciones son estribillos simples que cantamos en la iglesia de aquí y que son un reconocimiento a Dios por todo lo que ha hecho y una expresión de gratitud. Hay un dicho popular que conozco y amo y que dice: "El agradecimiento es una solicitud para más" y qué mejor momento para mostrar nuestra gratitud que ahora... Decidí seguir el camino del jazz en este caso, aunque no No tengo ningún instrumento y créanme que lo disfruté. Espero que a ti también te guste esta entrada.
